The morning after the Feb. 3 primaries, which vaulted Kerry into a virtual-ly insurmountable lead, the candidate was fuming over his missing hairbrush. He and his aides were riding in a van on the way to a Time magazine cover-photo shoot. Nicholson had left the hairbrush behind. "Sir, I don't have it," he said, after rummaging in the bags. "Marvin, f---!" Kerry said. The press secretary, David Wade, offered his brush. "I'm not using Wade's brush," the long-faced senator pouted. "Marvin, f---, it's my Time photo shoot."

Nicholson was having a bad day. Breakfast had been late and rushed and not quite right for the senator. In the van, Kerry was working his cell phone and heard the beep signaling that the phone was running out of juice. "Marvin, charger," he said without turning around. "Sorry, I don't have it," said Nicholson, who was sitting in the rear of the van. Now Kerry turned around. "I'm running this campaign myself," he said, looking at Nicholson and the other aides. "I get myself breakfast. I get myself hairbrushes. I get myself my cell-phone charger. It's pretty amazing." In silent frustration, Nicholson helplessly punched the car seat.

I recall Ronald Reagan was unfailingly polite to the White House staff and his low-level aides. He was almost apologetic any time he asked someone to perform a menial chore. What a difference. Jean-Foutre reminds us that there are more horses' asses than horses in this world .

Despite their Ivy League educations, it appears the Kerry clan needs a basic language skills refresher course. Notice the favorite word of ALL of 'em. Low class, trailer trash.

>>Oh geez thank you, now I've got that freakin' song in my head<<

"Oh God is bigger than the Boogie Man.
He's bigger than John Kerry
Who's a monster on tv.

Oh God is bigger than the Boogie Man
And he's watching out for you and me."

That was my first thought, but my understanding is that Newsweek was given full access to both campaigns -- on the condition that they could not report any of these minute details until after Election Day.<<<

The media did not have to report it, really. I knew instinctively just who and what kerry is along with many others - it's why he was not elected by Americans.

Hmmm, makes we wonder how he REALLY treats his wife. A first class prick that can't hide this kind of behavior outside is usually much worse at home.

His wife is a billionaire who made him sign a prenup and pays for everything he uses in life.

I’m positive that he acts like an obsequious toad in her presence.

Here is one line from the piece that says it all, about sKerry and his man-servant of 33 years old, his former GOLF caddie:

"The two men were close friends, but Nicholson was still the servant."

A servant. How sKerry views all those he deems below him.

The whole article must be read to understand some of flavor of the campaign and how easy it was for Bush, et al to use Kerry's lack of a core value against him. Kerry is really out of touch with reality. Please read the whole article....

Yes.

This is taking out a lot of "yes, dear" on Nicholson.

Imagine the sheer fun SNL would have had with President YesDear.

Odd that the "inside story" about Bush's campaign isn't being leaked first, as that would be bigger news that we had just elected the wrong guy--NOT! Bush is what he is off-camera as when he is on-camera. An inside story would just be a dog bits man story...ho hum.

Anyway, the fact all this stuff is coming out now just gives the MSM's credibility (I know, Oxymoron) one more kick in the pants.
