That was my first thought, but my understanding is that Newsweek was given full access to both campaigns -- on the condition that they could not report any of these minute details until after Election Day.

Odd that the "inside story" about Bush's campaign isn't being leaked first, as that would be bigger news that we had just elected the wrong guy--NOT! Bush is what he is off-camera as when he is on-camera. An inside story would just be a dog bits man story...ho hum.

Anyway, the fact all this stuff is coming out now just gives the MSM's credibility (I know, Oxymoron) one more kick in the pants.

I'll bet there is no "inside story" of the Bush campaign; I'm sure Newsweek will only run the sordid details of the losing campaign.

The most demoralizing aspect of a Kerry victory would have been to find out afterward that the Democrats -- for the fourth straight Presidential election, mind you -- had nominated a candidate who may very well be a certifiable loony-tune.
