(Bush) won in tiny towns where no one dreams of dining with Bush-hating billionaire George Soros, you don't need to borrow a gun to go goose hunting, and opposing gay marriage is seen as standing up for traditional values.

"Democrats get in trouble with candidates from the liberal elite, of noblesse oblige, who talk about, 'Oh gee, I'm going to help the poor people,' " Doak added. Kerry's supposed concern for the poor would be a tad more convincing if he ever, ever considered the possibility of reaching into his own pocket to help!

Kerry might not be comfortable in a trailer park but he better get used to the dog house.

She (The Author Orin) was on Hardball and was right on from this moderate's point of view. Excellent piece.

"Most people in America don't windsurf and don't snowboard. Kerry's problem wasn't about his thoughts or issues as much as it was his inability to connect," said Democratic strategist David Doak.
Oh please.

The Dems didn't want to win this one, they put forth the biggest loser they could find. Hillary in 2008 is their goal, they don't want to do any work, but would prefer to squander the work of Republicans.

It's way past time, newbie, that you lose the class warfare bit!
"REGULAR FOLK" live on the East Coast,go to Yale and to Harvard, just as our beloved president did and (gasp),yes, even go to boarding schools too.And guess what? THEY AREN'T ELITISTS EITHER! Still and all,if YOU represent "regular folks" (which you don't!),then the rest of us here aren't.

Read what you posted, then reread my reply.
And here's a helpful hint....THINK before you post and don't post again until you get more acquainted with this forum. :-)
