Vanity: How can President Bush reach out to the 48% of America that voted for Sen. Kerry?
And the economy can set up a good race for 08 - particualary a governor.
Do you smell ozone often?
he should move forward with his agenda. It's for all the people. Not just the red states. THey will benefit by a stronger economy and better protection from islamo-killers.
In a sense, the urban areas have the most to gain in both areas.
He can hold out his ring and allow them to kiss it from a kneeling position
Wrong question.
The question should be: "How can the 48% of Americans who bought into the Big Lie rejoin the vibrant and energetic side of American society?"
Who jumps the net to shake the winner's hand in tennis?
Who crosses the field to shake the winner's hand in football, baseball, etc?
The freaking loser, that's who.
Who in the blue hell are they to tell me what my best interests are. Are these the same $250,000+ a year democrats who say the party is for the "workin man" and they are still dems since they 'care' about us working and middle class stiffs?
"I am thinking that as a bipartisan move, President Bush should appoint Sen. Kerry to be our next Ambassador to France."
How about Viet Nam?
I'm going to ping you to a long response I'm writing in another thread. I think you'll appreciate it.
Well said!
For over thirty years Americans have had to endure scorched earth negativity, destructive criticism, and pompous hatred from the left and liberals in general.
If they are really interested in bi-partisan co-operation to get things done for the good of our nation, then it's time for them to put up, or shut-up. WE watch what you do, not what you say.
Frankly, I think that is a pipe-dream and liberals are too stuck in the mud to care about anyone but themselves.
Zel Miller Secretary of Education.
Give them a tax cut. The great thing about prosperity is taht we'll all share in it. Hopefully, a fair number of Kerry supporters will realize in time that we're safe, richer, and otherwise more stable.
NRST isn't a bad idea, but it would require a constitutional Amendment, and this thread is about what President Bush can do, not what 3/4 of the state legislatures or a constitutional convention can do.
I'll bite, what does "surrender" in this context entail?
Why is it President Bush is the one who must reach out? From my POV, he reaches out more than necessary, but the leftists in this country are so full of hatred THEY will not meet him halfway.
I was with you until you got to Lee Greenwood. Making anyone listen to country music is cruel and unusual punishment, and constiutionally prohibited. :)
I think he should moon 'em.
How's that for reaching out?
