This just goes to show you how the left seriously undermines the War on Terror for America...

All the Bush bashing and the "President Selected" rhetoric has the European Allies thinking Pres. Bush was not to be taken seriously because most Americans were not behind him...Wednesday night was the sweetest thing for us as Americans...all Americans!

Taheri makes an interesting comment and it has historical precedent. He calls Bush the first American president to directly challeng the existence of despotism in the world.I think a true statement. Ronald Reagan was the first American President to actually challenge in policy the existence of Communism. Earlier Presidents recognized the threat of Communism and rose to meet it, but Reagan alone among them saw it possible to actually defeat it and remove it as a threat to humanity. Taheri is saying that President Bush sees the same possiblities in removing despots from their positions as oppressors of their own people and threats to the civilized world. I think he is not wrong in his appraisal of President Bush's goals.

Moderate and democratic forces ? from Indonesia through Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq to Morocco ? will be encouraged by the prospect of four more years the first U.S. administration to threaten a status quo dominated by despotic regimes. Bush's victory, however, is bad news for reactionary despotic regimes, pan-Arabists and Islamo-fascists who had prayed for a Kerry victory.

WOO HOO!!!

Last time I looked at the Constitution, it said that the US Senate, not the President, ratifies treaties. The Senate rejected Kyoto 99-0.

The second Bush administration should give them a chance to prove that they have changed course.

Wrong. Let Olde Europe, like the UN, prove to everyone that they are still relevent. These people sold Iraq and Iran much of weaponry we are having so much trouble gathering up over there. They are largely responsible for 1100 American lives.
