Finally
The sight of any repugnant Liberal would make me sick. :)
My grandparents were praying hard for the last several weeks. I know I sure was. :)
Thank you Captain Obvious! (the ap not you)
Yah, me too. And I'm in Illinois.
I love New Mexico, some of my favorite people live there. Thank God, His Light shines in the Land of Enchantment.
Er, I'm not through praying for Illinois. If Chicago were to annex, we'd be a red state.
No, they have a memo that says Kerry won Texas.
Zogby just might call the race..........
My math tells me that with Nevada, NM and Iowa going to Bush it will give him 286.That is what Andy Card said early this morning - that Dubya would end up with a minimum of 286 EV's.
Is that the FINAL total, then, for sure ??? Dubya did get New Mexico and Iowa ??
Thanks.
"New Hampshire is no longer stands out in the Northeast."
I don't think that this election indicated NH is a lost cause. Kerry was from the State next door, and the margin was razor thin. I don't think they would have gone for Edwards or She Who Must Not Be Named...
What is most recent tally in actual votes in Pennsylvania - anyone know ? Yes I realize it went for Kerry - but once heard it was landslide Kerry then heard very tight. Did not watch and am not now watching television....so need help from Freepers please. Thank you.
CBS is getting its voting results faxed in to them from a Kinko's in Abilene, Texas so they are a little behind the other networks in making these calls.
Zogby holds press conference to announce that early exit polls are the "true election" by pollster, and those 59 million actual, recorded votes are irrelevant distractions. The MSM declared that Kerry was heading toward victory during the afternoon of November 2, so that is how the final results should be recorded. Zogby is convinced that Kerry "really won" and should be inaugurated as our next president.
No, Iowa makes 286.
"they have a memo that says Kerry won Texas"
If it was faxed from a Kinko's in Abilene then it is most certainly reliable. Dan Rather told me to believe anything coming in from that fax machine. Why would a great icon of broadcast journalism lie? \sarcasm
Agreed.
And I am surprised at Minnesota. Especially Olmsted County. Also, it is known that many students in WI came o MN to vote and vice versa. So many voted twice in 2 states. I would wager that without vote fraud. WI would have gone Bush, and Minnesota would have been much closer. In 2008, if we have as strong of a candidate as Bush, I think MN, WI and MI go GOP. And if no exit polls to supporess the vote, possible WA, OR and HI go GOP as well.
GEORGE W. BUSH
342,457 50.1%
JOHN F. KERRY
332,912 48.7%
And in other late-breaking news, CBS has called New York for Dewey...
Hey, a win is a win. And this was a great one cuz OUR MAN had alot to contend with this election, he had everything going against him, he stood firm and the American people spoke and said, HE'S OUR GUY.
Thank you America, now we must stand firm and continue to pray for him.
Reagan won 49 states and lost Minnesota by a whisker. Mondale won his home state and DC. Popular vote was 59-41. Electoral was a whopping 525-13.
But Cavuto forgets that Reagan lost senate seats continually and finally lost the Senate in 1986. He never did get the House. Mandates are in the eye of the beholder.
Has anybody noticed that it was the blacks (in Ohio) and hispanics (in FL and NM) that might have made the difference in this election?
