VANITY POLL -- Happy Bush won or that Libs lost

Posted on 11/03/2004 12:45:58 PM PST by jcb8199

I know I probably shouldn't but I am curious--I feel kinda guilty about the fact that, while I am elated taht W won, I am ecstatic even more that the Left lost. How are you all feeling?

A) Happy Bush won

B) Happy the Left lost

Happy that the road to oblivion will now be traversed by car instead of rocket ship.

I'm 95% elated because W won.

5% of me is laughing at the Michael Moore/DUmmie/Liberal Elite/Socialist/Communist crowd. But there are a lot of Democrats that I feel bad for because they know that their core values are not reflected by the Moore-ons.

Bush winning, but Kerry the Traitor losing is close.

It's a great day when your man wins.

It's an even better day when you defeat liberalism.

Well, both. But Bush has some farsighted policies I support such a missile defense program and space research that it'd be hard for any Democrat to get away with advocating. And GWB's being against unrestricted abortion rights and being pro marriage suits me far better than the stereotypical litmus test positions that are all that are allowed for any Democrat candidate.

Both.

I'm extremely relieved that this country made the correct choice for our times and the fact that it really REALLY gets under liberals' skin is just icing on the cake.
