The county in Texas is Travis, the home of Austin.
Bush won it in 2000.

Me too, but I don't mind it as much anymore when our President wears a red tie and they say it's "hawkish." Hehe.

Odd. Why aren't any of the counties in Maine filled in, I wonder?
To: freetexan
Travis County, where Austin is located.

WITH THIS MAJORITY OF POPULATION THE ELECTORAL VOTE IS UNREPRESENTATIVE!
GODSPEED!

Thought so. I cast my ballot for GW here in Travis county in early voting.

The colors are correct. The Dems are blue. Very, very, blue.
We got em singing the blues!

Looks like we took everything in Texas save the "Golden Triangle" which is strong union, Travis County, El Paso, Del Rio, and the deep valley.

(I early voted 18 Oct 2004 and took a car full with me.)
Out here in California, my county weighed in decently I think
San Diego County
John F. Kerry Democratic 394,752 46.9 Percent of Vote
*George W. Bush Republican 439,242 52.2 Percent of Vote
Take out the greater San Francisco area, most of the L.A. area until you reach way inland, and it's a different state :-/
...
Besides San Diego county, kudos to the sane Orange, Riverside and San Bernadino counties near L.A. as well (and many other CA counties), unlike San Francisco county with their 83-16 percent vote (gawd!)...keep up the good fight out here.

My questions:
When will Iowa and NM be finished with whatever they are doing and be counted?
What constitutes a landslide in the EC?

Where are all the Maine numbers? I'd like to see how the northern counties went.

What is it about water that attracts liberals? West coast, east coast, Mississippi River...and the Rio Grande.
