>>They mostly live in Dearborn, which is Wayne county. There's probably some scattered throughout other suburbs- I'm told there's some in Macomb county.<<
The difference between the Arabs in Wayne county and those in Macomb is the head scarves.
Most of the Macomb Arabs are Chaldean Catholics.
Let them deal with it. It would serve them right after all the Canadian quarters they send down here.
GWB wasted his time going to Marquette. There may be hope for Michigan but I wouldn't hold my breath. The U.P. is populated by socialist Finlanders and welfare recipients and a lot of the lower is union, arabs and blacks.
Wayne
Is that the sound of a Democrat machine in Wayne County?
Perhaps we could outsource all the universities here to a state that won't matter, say California where the weather is nice. And they can keep the MI tax money just to get rid of them.
He even won Iron County - a democrat stronghold. The UP is starting to flip some.
Thanks for the post, information.
840,000 votes in Wayne County. That's about 80,000 increase from 2000 despite big population drops. I think Detroit stole this one.

Thanks Dan for posting this.I live in Clare County and was wondering how many would get out and vote at all. Bush won over Kerry by only 106 votes here, but hey it's a start.
Please give me a freep-mail if you would. I cannot live but a few miles from you.

Thank you Livingston County! I love this place.
I spent the first 18 years of my life there, its a great place to raise kids. I'm glad to see it went for Bush.
That's very heartening; I was disappointed because GWB visited Marquette and drew a huge crowd and I thought he might just pull that county.
But just like Boulder County in Colorado - the site of a university, it generally heads left. Wayne, Genesee and Saginaw Counties are the problem.
One of the best decisions I ever made was to move from Oakland County to Ottawa County back in 1986. Looks like we had the highest % for Bush this year. We are also one of the fastest growing counties in the state, so maybe we turn the state red in a few years!

Woo Hoo!!! Well PAINT me RED!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud!!!!!
You just never know until the results come in. There were some Kerry signs but they seemed clustered together----many more Bush signs:) Way to go Grosse Ile!!
