Who Leads the Democratic Party Now?
11/3/2004 | Naspino

Now that the election is over. Kerry will fade back in to irrelevancy, Edwards will go back to chasing ambulances, Daschle will relocate to an Indian reservation, and one has to assume that Terry's days of running the DNC are coming to and end. Who will assume control over their party to stand in opposition to Bush? Obviously the media thinks that Obama can be their savior in 2008.

I don't see how Hillary/Obama could carry a single RED state in 2008 so I think this is a Dean pipe-dream. Whoever it will be we need to find out soon to begin preparation for 2008. We need to watch Hillary and Obama's senate votes carefully.

Will they continue driving themselves in to the ground with an anti-Christian, socialist/anarchist propaganda campaign or try to reinvent themselves as moderates?

Yogi Bear. "Hello, Mr. Ranger, sir!"

My first guess, though, would be ex-president Bubba.

Wrong.

Daschle will finally become a true resident of Maryland and become the queen of liberal lobbyists.

If they had a real leader, they wouldn't have chosen Kerry. Hillary is not their leader, she just thinks she is. The party is very split now. They always talk about a "sharply divided nation" but what really exists is a very fractured Democrat party.

Obama, Harold Ford, and Hllary. That's their Dream Team for '08. And it's going to come down to Hillary deciding which guy to take for VP candidate.

Look for Hillary to come back HARD to the center during the next 4 years..

If she does, you know she's running in 08. If she stays out on the left fighting for socialist causes, she's not running.

Clinton's know how to play the politics game.
