Philadelphia Vote:
From CNN (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/PA/P/00/county.002.html#42101):
Kerry 517,054 80% 97% of precincts reporting
Bush (Incumbent) 124,710 20%
Badnarik 860 0%
Cobb 464 0%
Peroutka 375 0%
Total Philly votes cast: 643,463
So Kerry got 4.14 votes for every 1 Bush vote in Philly (an absolutely astounding number - even heavily democratic Broward Country, Fl only went for Kerry 2:1 and heavily democratic Cook County, IL went for Kerry 2.5:1)

Philadelphia Voting Population:
From the US Census Bureau: (http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/42/42101.html): Philadelphia County Pennsylvania
Population, 2003 estimate 1,479,339
Population, percent change, April 1, 2000 to July 1, 2003 -2.5%
Population, 2000 1,517,550
Population, percent change, 1990 to 2000 -4.3%
Persons under 5 years old, percent, 2000 6.5%
Persons under 18 years old, percent, 2000 25.3%
Persons 65 years old and over, percent, 2000 14.1%
Female persons, percent, 2000 53.5%
Total age eligible aged persons in Philly : Overall Philly population (1,479,339) - those under 18 (25.3% of 1,479,339) = 1,105,066*
Does not exclude those not eligible to vote by other factors (immigrants, felons, etc.)
------------------------------------------
Philadelphia Registered Voters:
Total number of people registered to vote in Philly (http://www.seventy.org/stats/regstats.html) 2001 - 1,011,149
Total number of people registered to vote in Philly (http://www.pennlive.com/politics/patriotnews/index.ssf?/base/news/109698120624990.xml) 2004 - 1,035,395
Total number of people registered to vote in Philly (http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/103-10042004-376969.html) 2004 - 1,035,395
------------------------------------------
Some conclusions:
1. Even as Philadelphia looses population, the number of registered voters continues to increase
2. Nearly every person of voting age is registered to vote (as compared to a national average of 50% by the Census Bureau http://www.census.gov/prod/2002pubs/p20-542.pdf)
3 The total lopsidedness of the vote is an astounding number to believe
4. Either Philadelphia has the most engaged and civic population in the WORLD, or there is massive fraud.
5. The amount of fraud easily exceeds the margin of loss of President Bush. If Bush had won Pennsylvania, it would have been a landslide (no Ohio hand wringing).
we won pa. WE need jail time for this.
Well, maybe Bush should challenge the votes anyway... ?
Do you have the Philly precinct reports?
Need to look at nbr voters in 2000 (compared to 2004), for each precinct, against nbr registered democrats vs registered republicans.
Senate seats also! See, one clue to vote fraud is deleting a presidential vote, but leaving a Senate vote still on theballot.
Philly has long been 80% Dim-17% Rep in registration. Bush out performed his registration here.
But the margin is no surprise to those of us who live here.
The turnout is unspectacular and mirrors the PA statewide vote.
THe Feds need to investigate.
i think we carried pa. with the fraud and the absentee ballots not counted, the 121000 votes we need to make up would easily be surpassed. that number is less than the number bush is up in ohio. i really think they should count it.
That's my Philly. We is special round here.
This is hilarious. My neighborhood for one was very apathetic about voting. I do not believe even close to half the eligible voters actually voted yesterday.
Someone posted yesteredy they were filling buses on Time Square and taking these people to Philly.....
"I do not believe even close to half the eligible voters actually voted yesterday." But the stats show that it was nearly 100% Philly-wide. So "someone else" took the voting privilige for the no shows from your district!
Archive ping. This is a good one.
And with the exhaustive analysis you conducted in 2000 you should know most of the red flags to watch for.
Another similar analysis would be uselful and not appear to be just sour grapes.
Philly appears to be the poster child for why we need to have universal voter ID required ...
Ed Rendell is such a crook, he delivered PA to Kerry as promised in his "smoky back room."
There will be no Peace until all of parties involved in this fraud are brought to justice. These idiots forget that without the ballot there are only bullets.
Altho massive fraud and dead people voting are not hard to imagine (being time-honored democrat-machine traditions) Washington DC went 90% for Kerry as it usually does for the Democrat candidate and no one gives this a second thought. The Democrat regime in Philadelphia has had its hands in the pockets of the productive to a significantly greater extent than even the state as a whole (and that's pretty bad) which has had the result of the productive and the non-losers and non-parasites voting with their feet and leaving. This leaves mostly parasites and losers to populate the city and their interests are with the liberal welfare state.
They cheated in Philly in 2000, too.
They cheated in Philly in 2000, too.
Rendell will not allow MILITARY Absentee to be counted !
Where is the Investigation ????
Have been following the voter Fraud thing quite throughly this election. (Type in repository in search).....Since the SOcial security office already has in their database name, address etc. it seems logical to use their information.
Reguardless how it's done.....the double voting NYC/ Florida, Mutiple voting, dead voting, felon voting, alien voting must be stopped. IMO Democrats are making us a third world nation.
