Coulter: Bogus Exit Polling Story of the Election
NewsMax.com ^ | 11/03/04 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 11/03/2004 6:24:24 AM PST by kattracks

Ann Coulter was in rare form this morning of Fox's Fox & Friends program, wondering why this year's exit polling was so wrong, and so slanted.

She told the F&F gang: "The Democrats did throw everything they had at this; we've got Bruce Springsteen, Kabbalah, slashing tires of the get-out-the-vote Bush voters ... and the lying exit polls. "I think that's the biggest story of this election, the outrage of these exit polls. They were completely cockamamy; they had Kerry 18 points ahead in Pennsylvania - demonstrably untrue."

"People vote for the winner, and it always helps the person they (the exit polls) say is ahead, and all day everyone though Kerry absolutely had this [election].

"I think it needs to be looked into. How about a little competition among the exit polls?"

Coulter was also thankful that President Bush won a "stunning popular vote victory - in fact he won a larger popular vote victory than Ronald Reagan ever won," she said, and she wondered why Kerry wasn't conceding, considering that there are fewer provisional ballots out than the margin of victory for Bush.

"If 100% of the military ballots and the provisional ballots are all valid and are all for Kerry, maybe he can retract the concession."

Ms. Coulter also waxed eloquent on Tom Daschle's defeat, among other things, opining, "That was one of the most heartening moments of the campaign last night." She was happy for John Thune, who she said got robbed in the last election, but conceded with grace.

Coulter is also delighted that "that the South is 100% Republican now."

Sorry to disagree with the great Anne Coulter, but the story of this election is the last mission of the Swiftboat Vets. Who showed us all about honor and committment and courage, and dignity in the face of assault. Each of them,to quote someone I can't remember, defended this nation as a young man, and stood up to defend Her again in the early autumn of their lives. They are the story of this election and in the words of A.E. Houseman"...Their shoulders held the sky suspended. They stood and Earth's foundation stay.."

I couldn't agree more that the exit polls, and the pollsters like the obvioulsy-Democrat Zogby are absolutely the story this morning. I have a very good friend who has moved to Atlanta recently from DC and is super plugged-in up there. She has some exit poll buddies who started sending her exit poll data about 1:00 yesterday afternoon. And it was ALL going Kerry's way. In PA it was 18 points. In Virginia it was something like 8 points. It was a CLEAR effort to tilt things. Complete "Bush league" (pun intended) effort. Those bozos have had their last say in an election. Hopefully the MSM has a memory and they will lend no credence to these yahoos in 2008 and beyond.

Hugh Hewitt made the same point, that the MSM did a head fake to try and help Kerry with obviously misleading exit polling results.

One of the other "nearly" untold story of the year awaiting an energetic, investigative reporter is a list of the liberal (socialist) donors along with the actual amount of advertising money they spent keeping food in the mouths of the likes of Rather, Brokaw, Jennings, Woodruff, and Blitzer.

Oh happy day that Soros and Moore and Ikes et al., including editors at the NYT (to name but one irrelevant news organization), all have headaches today.

Kattracks, thanks for all your work--and my thanks extends to all the hard-working posters, too.

God bless America!!!
Best regards . . . Penny

I truly believe the AP and it's associated "customers" again attempted to sway, or steal, an election. There is no way the exit polls could have been so far off. There was foul play afoot with those polls. It is time to outlaw exit polls, as this election proves they can be rigged.

"I think it needs to be looked into. How about a little competition among the exit polls?"

How about NO exit polls at all! They've failed to accurately predict the trends and outcome of the last 3 or 4 Presidential elections. No matter how they "re-invent" the system, they always manage to screw it up - almost to the point of seriously influencing the outcome of the election.

I am generally against censorship, but this is one case where I think this practice needs to be outlawed. Let them get their information as it is being tallied by the electorate.

Bob Beckel just said (on Fox) that the south should secede and form their own country. LOL

God is good. If the Democrats hadn't gotten away with cheating in 2002, Thune would have been elected then, but we may well be still stuck with Dasole today. Funny how things work out.

Bob Beckel, the fool does not realize that all Democrats are low life vermin, and traitors to booot!!! Get a life, Bob!!!

Beckel just said on FOX: "I think the south should leave the nation and form their own confederacy."

Ironic how the bitter sh*theads are trying to kick the majority (those who voted for President Bush) out of the country. What's this about every vote counting? Well, the south (and the rest of the heartland) had their vote counted and it mostly went to President Bush!

When it comes to media reports, it's a safe bet that there is always foul play afoot. No law needed, just abundant skepticism.

Hey Bob (or is that Boob), why doesn't New York and California leave the country and we'll be the USA. What an ignoramous!

Fox was part of the consortium that paid these exit pollsters. Since the other consortium members are hopelessly liberal and glad to try to tip the election by all means necessary, it is incumbent on Fox to launch an investigation into how this fiasco happened.

If memory serves me correctly, I recall going to a web page that had a flashing siren on it. When I read the text above that siren, I felt as if I had been kicked in the stomach. While we blame all of the other MSM, again we had a "weapon" of our own used against us.
Et tu, Matt?

I think it was Jefferson who said that the only thing needed for evil to triumph over good is for good men to do nothing. The Swiftees are good men who refused to do nothing. They are the story of the campaign. The phony exit polls are the story of Election Day.

Wasn't the Associated Press (AP) tasked with providing polling data to the media in this election? At least that's my understanding ... which would easily explain the bash Bush polling data that came thru yesterday PM.
