Speaking on behalf of the human race, I forgive you.
you were not the only one having a meltdown yesterday, I think everybody understands.
Me too, I apologize I was doom and gloom.
I wasn't as bad as you though!
LOL
JUST KIDDING!
ACCEPT PENNACE O DOUBTER OF THE PATRON SAINT OF ELECTIONS, ST.CHAD
I wouldn't worry about it. I was nervous to the point of being sick all day.
You weren't alone. Apology accepted. Not about these vanities....
Heh no problem. We were all on edge...and as for me and millions, who "RUSH to such doom and gloom scenerios, a lesson with that old professor Rush Limbaugh can help ease the pain. Go Rush.
You had every right to be upset with the exit polls. They went against most state polling as well as national polling.
I posted a link to a Drudge article posted on FR in 2000 showing Gore leading Florida by 3$ and Bush winning Michigan and PA. Exit polls should be ignored.
BUT I have to admit I was exceptionally pessimistic as well. PSYOPS fully at work. But we knew in our hearts better and as the returns came in it was apparant..it was a job pulled off by the Dan Rather types in the world or Moveon.org posing as voters and filling out exit cards etc....who knows..but the truth is George Bush won a DECISIVE victory with the heaviest turnout in history and took some senate seats as well!
God was watching down on us!
Apology accepted!!
No worries. I'm having my time this morning.
I was there with you. I was down in the dumps. Man, I've never been so happy to be wrong.
Not a problem.
Cheer up. The MSM still is in shock for having believed their own crap exit polls .... LOL!
How about a round of applause for the people who kept us from meltdown? LS was right in there for one, and so were many others.
i must confess about 7 pm central, i turned off the tv, retreated to my bedroom, and pull out an old paul levine novel. an hour or so later i reconciled myself to go back downstairs and torture myself with the final blow of bad news. and then.....
the rest is histo...
I want to apologize for snapping at you yesterday. Living in a red state makes it hard for me to understand tension others feel.
And I don't think I ever told you welcome to FR!
This post is dedicated to you, good buddy!
Feelings, nothing more than feelings,
Feelings, wo-o-o feelings
I was freakin' too. Not as bad as one of my co-workers though. I came real close last night of having a long talk with two of my friends: Jack Daniels and Jim Beam.
Hope you have yesterday's clothes in the laundry.
