During all those months documenting the outrageous liberal bias at The Today Show, one thing above all drove your FR reporter: the tantalizing image of Matt and Katie, the morning after Election Day, dressed in black.
It happened this morning.
There they are on the set, dressed in their mourning-clothes finest, with a black-clad Tom Brokaw thrown in for good measure.
More details will be posted below. But for the time being, let's just revel in the image. Life is good.
Agreed. As I wrote: "neither Katie nor Matt seem particularly distraught."
Let's face it: a big part of Kerry's problems was that even his friends didn't like him. For Katie and friends, it's not a tragedy - as it would have been if Bill Clinton had lost!
That's pretty awful. Even granting his ridiculous assumptions, its like saying that paying the price for moral values is wrong because it is stupid. Dems know best.
>>BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!!
That's the problem, they already did.
For the second election in a row, the Democrats picked a Pres or VP candidate that lost their home state.
Can you say incompetent!
I don't care what they wear. They're idiots and they lost!!!!!! MSM will die a quick death over the next few months, exaserbated by the pajama people!
They look so forlorn.
Lauer's haircut is awful...looks like my own.
BOWELS LOST TOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't we give Brokejaw a wonderful goodbye party.
Russert is wrong. Clearly Republican Americans and the religious right were having a temper tantrum, to reprise Peter "the Canadian" Jenning's previous intellectual musings.
Thanks for all you do governs, its much appreciated.
"But how's this for bias: Russert claimed that social conservatives "put their moral values ahead of their economic interests." Consider the clear implication - Russert effectively saying that Kerry's brand of higher taxes and regulation and less economic freedom is somehow "in the economic interest" of average Americans."
Sounds like the old Howard Dean refrain of how southerners need to stop voting on "Guns, God, and Gays" and start voting their economic interests.
Katie now bitterly saying that country is "so polarized" and that many people would refuse to see W's victory as a mandate. I'm sure you do refuse, Katie!
Pubs keep House and Senate (probably pick up a couple), Daschle GONE(!), gay marriage on the rocks, and Bush to give a victory speech later today. I was hoping she would be one sad little socialist. Maybe when the prozac wears off and the reality sets in...
Now Katie angrily saying to Bill Frist: many people feel there is a crisis in health care. What are you going to do to fix it?
yessssssssssss, too funny
Good point.
How's your head?
She should wear black more often... It really is her color...
Hello, I'd like to register a complaint...
It's about a bird I purchased a 'alf hour ago from this very boutique...
What's the matter wit' 'im? I'll tell you what's the matter wit' 'im... He's DEAD...
