Please - somebody - explain why Ohio looks so great! I need some reinforcement. I don't know. Bush was ahead at first but the last numbers I saw showed Kerry ahead.

WTF? Fox listed the numbers for Ohio in reverse!

Depends on the margin in NJ. Gore took it by 16% last time. I'm still looking for the Kerry margin there. Just spoke to the co-chair of the NJ GOP. If the Kerry margin there was 5% or less, that's a great sign for Bush nationally.

I was surprized that NJ went for Kerry. That was supposed to be one that Bush could pick up. Not that Bush is going to Win NJ, but right now, they have Bush 50/49 Kerry.
I cheered a little. At least we gave them a good run for a while(I expext it to downgrade from there)!

Fox has been off on a few of their numbers (they had Bush and Kerry flipped for awhile in VA or SC, I can't remember which).

Just updated Ohio on their site. It went from something like 54-44 Bush to 47-45 Kerry and 6% to some guy named David Cobb.

It's going to be a close election, but if W loses, its over the loss of jobs. I've been holding it for months now, but the party is going to have a major shake up over the issue of jobs, NAFTA, outsourcing .... (OK - back in my hole)

I know it`s a dem state and likely to go to Kerry but godd##n it even Fox won`t call Bush states when up by 10-20 percent and NJ hardly reported on but last showed tied.Everything generally good for Bush.Bill Kristol just admitted exit polls may be wrong and that could be reason for late calls.Actual data does`nt match exit poll so they sit on the projection.Starting to feel a little better but God this is tough.Sorry for rambling and venting.

I was surprized that NJ went for Kerry. That was supposed to be one that Bush could pick up With 5% reporting - The total is 50% Kerry, 49% Bush. Awful early to totally write off NJ....

Forgive me... but can an Ohioan give us some key counties to look for? Which counties are bellwethers for the state?
