I worked in a newsroom for years and always worked on election night. They know no more tonight than WE here at FR do. We're looking at maps and hearing about results called in. That's exactly the way it's done in the media. What's nice about now is that the internet has made much of their opinionated reporting irrelevant.

BROWARD COUNTY FLA ANNOUNCES: 34,000 absentee ballots "lost". Those voters lost their vote and they cannot correct it."? That's pretty odd -- absentee ballots lost? It seems clear that this can happen with touch screen systems that are 100% paperless (some aren't), but with physical absentee ballots, I don't see how so many could be lost except perhaps in some of transportation disaster like the Fedex airplane lost a few years ago?"
Easy enough to stuff absentee ballots in your socks and pants, a la Sandy Berger. Or mistakenly transport them to an offshore dumping ground on any one of the bazillions of boats in Florida. Or lose them in the primeval Everglades.
Look for the Coast Guard to find ballots floating up on shore, sorta like they found voting machines floating in San Francisco bay after a recent election...

GREAT INTERACTIVE ELECTORAL MAP -- CSPAN
Map shows states, roll over state and it shows vote totals for state and also Key House or Senate results. It IS a great map with the most up to date stats for each state I have found tonight. Flash required though. Thanks to you (or whoever first posted) for the link!

My Bride just came up. We prayed, and are still praying.
Time to grabe another beer and make some coffee. Will be a late night.
