Why aren't the bloggers raising an outcry about those two Indian counties in SD STILL not reporting their vote totals? One county has only 10 precincts and the other has 9 - there's NO legal reason for those vote counts to still be outstanding!
I agree - Hannity needs to have people calling him, grilling him on what the hell FNC is doing.
The MSM is waiting for the "extra" votes that should be there (based on 2000 numbers). In other words, they are giving the state enough time to manufacturer votes for Kerry.
Alright.....unless Bush wins WI, he absolutely must hold Ohio, which looks promising right now.
And since when has Kennedy been known to nobly do the right thing? I doubt very much that he is advising Kerry to concede. Stranger things have happened though, I guess.
"THIRTY-TWO HUNDRED DAMNED DEM LAWYERS ARE NOW DESCENDING ON OHIO!"
I don't understand why you are so upset, honestly. We knew that this was going to happen - the only issue is if there is bona fide hope here. There is NO HOPE HERE for the dems.
"They getting nervous up there?" Brokaw JUST said that on the current lead in, not knowing they were on air; let's just guess where 'up there' is. Tom is in NY.
I'm not surprised the lawyers are heading there, but all the data so far is pretty black and white. The only way Kerry gets Ohio is if the pretty boy lawyers get all the provisionals to count. Well, they would ALL have to be legal (my understanding is that these historically fail the registration check). And, it would have to overtake the real count; there's not enough provisionals. The math is the math. Bottom line, the dems are bluffing right now. By morning, cooler heads will prevail w/i the democratic party, and Bush will be giving a nice speech sometime during the morning or early afternoon.
Why am I so ceratin about this? The popular vote. This is NOT 2000 redux. It is a relatively huge popular WIN nation wide for Bush. To fight this in the courts is just utterly stupid for the democrats to partake in now.
Also, I've been flipping all the channels. Only Blather is even remotely sounding like there is any hope. And you know what that means...
Anyway, can't blame you for being angry. But, after watching Russert, almost an hour ago, gloomily take his little tablet and say what he said ... oh yep. It's over.
He's not the only one.
Cooler heads? Not bloody likely.
Nah, but I´ve already heard the worst Green I know saying "If this is the outcome, my worst dreams come true!" LOL, that comment alone made my day!! :-)
THEY WANT TO TARNISH BUSH'S VICTORY SO THEY CAN SPIN HIM AS "ILLEGITIMATE", AND CARP FOR 4 MORE YEARS ABOUT HOW "THIS ELECTION WAS STOLEN, TOO."
SINCE THEY HAVE NO FEDERAL POWER LEFT (CAN'T IMPEACH BUSH, SO THIS IS NEXT BEST THING), ALL THEY CAN DO IS DISCREDIT THE PRESIDENT.
THEY THINK IT SETS UP NICELY FOR HILLARY TO GIN UP THE BASE IN '08. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT POLITICS; THEY HOLD THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN CONTEMPT.
IT's OVER! Stick a fork in Kerry, HE's A COOKED GOOSE!
Ohio

President - 11241 of 11477 Precincts Reporting 98%
Bush, George Rep 2,736,850 51.05
Kerry, John Dem 2,599,244 48.48
They will seld destruct
Ohio S-of-S said they had maybe 120,000-150,000 provisional ballots. Now the sKerry camp is saying 200,000 provisionals in Ohio that "must be counted" (since when??? Studies have shown that only about 7% of those provisional ballots turn out to be legitimate!). By morning there will be a million provisional ballots that MUST BE counted, and we all know every one of those will be a vote for Kerry.
Bush just picked up nevada!
The MSM knows if they call ANY state for Bush --NEV, NM, IOWA it puts him over 270 and he can come out and claim victory. THEY WANT THE DOUBT OUT THERE FOR KERRY TO CONTEST THINGS!!! Therefore they WILL NOT give BUSH the CHANCE to CLAIM VICTORY!
LOL! Thank you fot that laugh, I needed it! That 'Play on Words" is perfect!
