RCP is reporting that Rasmussen has Bush leading Kerry 50.2% to 48.5% in their final poll (Bush plus 1.7%)
Voted early this morning at a very pro Bush precinct in Lexington Ky. Heavy turnout. The GAY marriage amendment to the State's Constitution and Bush is really brining people out. The election officer that has been it for decades says that this is the largest turnout ever.

So are you chalking the extra million in Kerry's favor to voter fraud or are you implying that our aniquated voting system essentially weights the importance of votes in favour of states with smaller population.
Cause the latter means that Bush has no real mandate, and the former requires a much different course of action.
From Ras: "The candidates are essentially tied among those who made up their minds during the summer. However, those who decided in the past month favor President Bush by a 57% to 38% margin." They also say those in the last few days, breaking for Bush...
Bush above 50 in Rasmussen on election day.

Rasmussen will be more accurate this year than Gallup's 49-49 poll.

I will, however, take comfort in the fact that Bush leads all the polls and pray it carry's over into the voting booths of America :-)

I got up a little after 5 this morning (early for me because I work a swing shift -- 2pm to 8pm) and couldn't wait to vote. Had tea and read a little FR and then dressed and out the door to vote at 6:32 am. The poll is in a Catholic Church on the premises of my coop complex in downtown Brooklyn. My coop has very high voting (Dem. unfortunately!), and there were 12 people ahead of me. Waited around 10 minutes and voted for Bush on the Republican line and then straight "Conservative" line. (Trying to send a message to the New York RINO party -- NO MORE RINOS!!!).
My fantasy: Guiliani runs against Hillary in 2006, beats her soundly, reverts to his original pro-life stance, "matures" on second amendment issues (in our favor), and completes the annihilation of the Democratic Party!
Ijust saw Bush and family on TV voting in Crawford TX.They seemed happy,W gave an imprompt to news comference.He was happy and confident.The camera panned Carol Rove and he appeared to be in a good spirits,actually very good spirits!

Also, no one seems to be taking union intimidation into account, for these poll answers. (I.e.: Is it really Gallup calling, or is it my union?)
What the pollsters who steer this country don't want you to know is that phone surveys, by their very nature, suck. They rely on the feedback of the two kinds of people: those who enjoy talking to telemarketers and those who enjoy lying to telemarketers. Neither group speaks well for the rest of us.I voted this morning. First time for me in my new town, but the murmuring of those around me seemed to indicate that turnout was very high.
I dunno...there were more people this morning at the polls than I've ever seen...and I live in a 70% Democrat district...I'm scared.

I think many amendments on the ballots, espically the marriage amendment in 21 states is going to increase voter turn out. Since most people are against the homosexual agenda, it should bring out more Bush voters.
My family is praying for a Bush win. Ever since the Canadian federal election is was feeling kind of down. A Bush win tonight would make me feel a lot better.
With regard to the New York City vote, I believe that not one NYC citizen on 9/12/01 got up and said, "Oh, how I wish Al Gore were President today!!"
By the same token, I believe that in the privacy of the voting booth today, many voters today will not be saying, "I'll feel so much safer next year if John Kerry is President!"
Despite Party affiliation, and despite other issues on which they may differ with GWB, I believe that an overwhelming sense of self-preservation will determine many votes for the President.
After all, what is there in Kerry's 20-year Senate career that would make one believe he can protect us?

This guy blew it last election. REMEMBER, POLLS DO NOT COUNT. THE ONLY NUMBER THAT MATTERS NOW IS 270!!!
