You jest!
In all reality, you may want to think twice about sarcasm until Wed. because I thought some who were posting here today were going to have nervous breakdowns before they could even vote.
I was almost one of them until I realized what a long night tomorrow may be so I decided to conserve my anxiety.

If you think that I'm going to wade through more than 24 hours worth of inane comments before real election results come out, forget about it.

The other New Hampshire town reporting in will be Hart's Location.
While many independents in each town vote for Democrats in the primaries, many return to the GOP in the general election. In the 2000 general election, Dixville Notch cast 21 votes for George Bush, five for Al Gore and one for Ralph Nader. Bush also won in Hart's Location, with 17 votes to Gore's 13.

"I forgot all about Dixville Notch. They'll vote in about an hour and a half."
Problem is they think it is the 1864 election there (Lincoln vs. McClellan) not the 2004 (Bush vs Three Bandaids Kerry)

MASON DIXIN not sure if I spelled that right ,anyway Bush looks great, Kerry spot says they are closer than anyone else on polling. I do feel Bush will win, I just hate listening to MSM talk like Kerry has won, they just want the Bush people to stay home and think it's over. Good news is the dumb Kerry folks will fall for it and think Kerry doesn't need their vote.

CBS, MSNBC. I sense a pattern here. One can only hope after year 2000 FL voters have more sense than both combined.

I already voted here.
I HEARD that Bush has been doing well in absentees in Michigan which is big since we got a professional Irish style ass kicking (an understatement) in absentee votes in 2000 and 2002.

Just wondering - is there anyone out there who will be *happy* if Kerry wins? Anyone who will breathe a big sigh of relief and look forward to four good years? Is there anyone? Or is his entire base the hate-bush contingent? I just cannot imagine a president being elected with so little popular support.
