INTERVENTION TO HEAD OFF ELECTION LOSS
DASCHLE LAWYERS GO TO FEDERAL COURT AT 8:00 PM TONIGHT TO STEAL VOTES, ELIMINATE REPUBLICAN POLL WATCHERS
SIOUX FALLS Anticipating a loss to Republican challenger John Thune tomorrow ending his 26-year congressional career, Senator Tom Daschle will seek federal judicial intervention in the election process tonight, Monday, November 1 during an emergency hearing in federal court in Sioux Falls at 8:00 PM.
The hearing will be before Federal Judge Larry Piersol who was appointed by Daschle to federal court and served as Daschles personal legal counsel in 1978.
This is nothing short of an attempt to steal an election Tom Daschle knows he is about to lose tomorrow, said Thune for Senate campaign manager Dick Wadhams. Daschles goon lawyers will seek to get Republican poll watchers removed from reservations and for voters to lose their right to vote.
Lawyers representing Tom Daschle successfully called for the hearing tonight in front of Daschle-appointed Judge Piersol.
The Pennington County Auditor was informed earlier today that Daschle lawyers will seek to ban the counting of legitimate absentee ballot requests in Pennington County tomorrow, Election Day, morning.
Then ought not this Judge recuse himself from this hearing?
Dasshole calls no more witnesses. Rests. Thune asks for dismissal---denied. Now Thune presents his defense.
Too, Too Funny.
Of course it is! ;)
For Daschle (a Eunuch), it just make him more troll-like.
Is that possible for him to be even more troll-like???
Thanks--great link.

This is a good point. The judge will know that another district has already ruled in a similar matter, and that if he issues a conflicting ruling, it will be automatically appealed to the Supremes. Obviously, it would probably have to be an emergency appeal. The Supremes, or at least one of them, might be aggravated enough to tell the South Dakota Federal Judge to back off and quit interfering in the election.
Any info on the 8th Circuit? How many Republican appointees? How many Democrats?
It will be really telling at 10:00 to see if the local TV news will pick this up or cover this up! I will keep you all posted!
If only you were six or eight inches taller. Seriously, since you no longer have a permanent residence in South Dakota, you'll evidently have to find a lobbyist job in the nation's capital. Just like Tom Foley and others who have lost their positions because of mean-spirited home folks.
Best of luck to you in all your future endeavors, except those that involve issues touching upon the traditional values of American citizens.
Sincerely,
Martin, South Dakota
PS Don't let the large US Senate door hit you in the A*S on the way out.
It will be telling at 10:00 tonight to see if the local TV stations carry this story. I will keep you posted!
PLEASE PING ME if you get an update.
Blessings,

One of those guys is out of action, and he is the one who usually makes the difference for us. I am very worried about The Ginsburg USSC making decisions in this election. Does anyone know international law by an chance ? Does that come from France ?
Ahhhh! the sweet smell of panic in early November!

In federal court, recusal of a judge cannot be obtained except upon direct evidence of conduct by the judge outside the courtroom demonstrating bias against a party in this particular case. It is not a matter simply of the appearance of bias or potential for favoritism towards one party. This is why federal judges are regarded as powerful. Once they get your case, it's very rare that anyone takes it away from them.
