He's on now. I am so glad that Mel Gibson is out there explaining what Prop. 71 is all about. The whole state has been brainwashed with LIES. I just had a conversation with a Republican who said he was for Prop. 71. He said "but what else can we do?" like it was the only way we could help people with diseases. The Michael J. Fox radio ads play over and over and act like this is the only way we will ever be able to help anyone EVER. As if we can never discuss stem cells again if we don't vote for this prop, as if this prop is a referendum on stem cell research and if we don't vote yes we'll never be able to consider it again. PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID!!!!!!

LOL...Mel is a devout Catholic, I don't think he's voting with the abortion party...and Kerry is all for this proposition that he opposes.

I heard that and at first I was very annoyed (I mean, c'mon, he's obviously pro-life) but then I thought it's pretty smart of him not to be tied to either party. If you want both sides to vote against this then it doesn't behoove you to align with one party.

On Hannity that's all Sean was interested in asking him about. It was another "Hannity is an idiot" moment. He's doing good cheerleading today but one of the best things he ever could have done was let Mel speak about 71 because the stem cell issue is one of the most demagouged issues of modern day.

Whoa! Mel is all over the place. It does turn out the anti-stem cell crowd. It's good for Bush. So Go Mel!

More State debt is the reason I'm voting no.

I was very disappointed with him on Hannity. He refused to say who he was voting for because he wasn't happy with Kerry or Bush. He refused to say who he was leaning towards. Hannity kept trying to get him to say something to help Bush but he wouldn't stand up for him. I was extremely disappointed as he certainly came to the Christians for support when everyone else was against him making the Passion. How as a Christian he can compare Bush and Kerry in the same breath is beyond me.

I wasn't annoyed about his lack of enthusiasm for Bush, just the criticism of the War in Iraq. The MSM+Dem propaganda strikes again.....

Sorry for the double post (I'm tired!).
I really admire Mel for getting out there and speaking about this. Too many people don't educate themselves on this issue and automatically think it's heartless *not to vote for this Prop.

$6 BILLION of unregulated squandering of tax money. Plus cloning of embryonic stem cells with no oversight and no evidence that such frankensteinish experiments will be effective.

Just heard him on Hannity. He was quite vocal, articulate and convincing when he talked about stem cell research....but his evasiveness about how he'd vote, joking about not having decided yet, and so on, was confounding and inexplicable. It was like listening to two different people. Why is he so vocal about stem cell research and yet so evasive about who should be president, particularly when Kerry IS IN FAVOR of the very thing he is speaking against? His sudden coyness was very disappointing.
