For all you worry warts out there, I have some very good news from a very, very high ranking GOP insider.
In an email just sent to me, the insider writes the following:
President wins tomorrow and we end up up 3 [in the House]. Senate up 1.
-------------------------------------------------
Well, not as high as I'd like in the House and Senate, but I'll take it!
Keep your chins up, and get out there and vote tomorrow!
Oh yah, well my high ranking GOP official just called to confirm that he/she is, in fact, high on something.
That's a safe bet.
Being up just one in the Senate would be a bad day. We should gain 3-5 seats.
Very good. You know there's only been two people on this site who have caught my sick sense of humor. I have my girlfriend's sister to blame - she's corrupting me.
If we are only +1 in the Senate, things won't be going well it seems to me. That would basically mean we lose Colorado, Oaklahoma and Florida, and only win Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Anyhow, hope he's right about the Pres. though. That's by far most important.
Listening to Jeb Bush on Rush today and Karl Rove on Hannity makes me feel confident. So if your source is close to these folks, we're in good shape. Jim
Later, Troll.
Kitties, please....
Good. I hope this comes to pass.
Oh goody. Another troll.
Please zot.
Chimpy boy? How clever. Buh bye!
Gone. I didn't even smell any ozone.
From jmstein7?
He has never led me wrong with anything he has posted out here. :) thanks JM
gall durnit... I missed the troll and his screed... did I miss anything good.
Damn, that is the same one I got. Do you think there is something fishy about this highly placed source? Have you sent him your "earnest" money yet?
GACK!!
That is not all that reassuring iMHO to be only up 1 in the Senate. Should be +4 or so ... we'll see.
I'm with you except in CO ... we will win that.
CO is *not* a pickup for Rs.
IL is a *loss* for Rs.
fix the math and its +3 Rs ... get Daschle and its +4 Rs.
