Damn, this stinks! I wanted to be a Gloomy Gus for no good reason like half of the FReepers around here, but Strategic Vision just had to let the sun shine on my funeral procession! :-)

This is the best news I've heard since the morning.

Please those of you who live in the battleground states, do your best to help reelect President Bush.

I have officially had my fill of polling data. These look good, but working myself up into a frothy panic is non-productive.

I am officially having a nervous breakdown.

Scoot over. Me too. The Democrats and Bin Laden have cross purposes to win against Bush and us. At times I believe nothing would make Democrats happier than to have Republicans drop dead. And so who would bravely fight against radical Islam then? They are signalling they will proudly extend their neck to the sword of tyranny.

Taking NJ and HI would be a huge helping of Reagan Nostalgia, wouldn't it?

So, this makes it three polls -- along with Mason-Dixon and Rasmussen -- that show Bush winning Ohio and Florida. Newsweek has Bush up eight nationally. There appears to be hope regardless of the Zogby and Fox polls.

If Bush wins FL & OH, he can lose all the other battleground states and still win the electoral college.

If Bush wins FL, but loses OH & PA, he needs to pick up 3 or 4 of these: IA, NM, WI, NH or HI.

If eating Crow three times a day 365 days a year for 4 years would keep Kerry from office, I would order cases and cases of Heinz ketchup.

I swear, if Bush wins handily (more than in 2000 at this point would be considered handily), EVERY freeper will have to sign an agreement to STOP SLOBBERING OVER THE POLLS, from here on out...
