CONFESS, FReepers!!
CONFESS your deepest, darkest, most shameful secrets here!
If we spend all day poring over polls and looking for any scrap of election info, we'll go nutz.
We've gotta have some fun. :) And we can't spend ALL day on the thread about German penis size.
CONFESS, I say!
GMTA
I worked for Tom Harkin.
That is one of the funniest ones I have seen. I can only stare and watch as LD's lips move as she talks. They are mezmerizing (sp)
LOL
I never wash my hands after going to the rest room at work. I also work at Liz Edwards favorite Wendy's (normally, she comes by everyday at lunch).
That took courage to admit.
The funny thing is I'm sure the Celine Dion song was still in English.
But, but my date was a hottie and she loved them. I was in college then and just trying to score some points with her.
LOL... that was the same reason I went... the babe in my Economics class was a big Air Supply fan... I scored some great seats and asked her out to the concert. It's amazing what men will do for a little nookie, eh?
Saw John Denver when he was warming up for the band at a big concert. He was the opening warm up act. He sat on a tall wooden bar stool and played the guitar and sang. I had never heard of him. The crowd was very rude and kept yelling for him to get off the stage. I think it was a Moody Blues concert, but it could have been Grand Funk Railroad. I don't remember what band it was. But I did think at the time that John Denver was GOOD and he was going to be famous.
"I do not believe that George W. Bush will be re-elected."
Oh Sarge, please pray and pray very hard.
W has to win.
"I loved John Denver"
Me too. I lived in Denver when he died and it was very moving.
I can really relate to the line in Rocky Mountain High, "He was born in the summer of his 27th year, coming home, to a place he'd never been before." That's exactly how I felt when we moved to Denver in my late 20's and stayed for 10 years. I'd been there at 13 with my parents and something about the mountains gets inside you and doesn't let go.
YUCK, never bought anything by Streisand or Bruce. He sounds too scratchy, as does Rod Stewart. I can't take scratchy voices.
**Gasp** Oh the humanity - stealing candy from babies.
Oh wait, I've already laid claim to the good stuff my kids got last night.
I saw Firehouse last year and thought it was great. Throw many other hairbands in too: Warrant, Trixter, Damn Yankees, etc.
I still listen to them and enjoy it.
I confess to (occasionally) not wearing pajamas (or much of anything else) when posting on FR.
Yeeks.
OK I have one almost as bad. During election night 2000, after my fifth scotch I thought Mara Liasson was kind of cute.
I wish she wouldn't be so conservative about food and start eating.
I find Sean Penn to be an excellent actor, and although he is a lying slob, I find Michael Moore to be at times, rather funny.
Oh yeah, I'm probably voting for Badnarik (I live in MA).
I know a gal who grew up in same neighborhood as B Streisand and she said "No one could stand her back then either" She told me that about 30 years ago, before I knew BS's politics.
... I wish the second civil war would just start so we can get it outta the way.
Right after this we could parlay it into a Crusade and head North.
LOL
They split: Venusians went for sKerry, Martians for Bush, Mercurians 48B 48K 1N 3U -- looks like a swing planet again.
