.......Democratic leaders talk a lot about how their "ground game" -- getting out their voters -- will elect Kerry Tuesday, and seem uninterested in what he has to say. ......

The mainstream media is working 24/7 to this end.

Few Democratic politicians think Kerry has proved a good campaigner,

Kerry hasn't convinced me to vote for him.

And I'd actually voted for a large number of ultra-liberal appeaseniks in my day.

A FRENCH START

Kerry / Edwards

The race is actually between Bush and a Democrat Empty Suit to Be Filled Later.

What counts for Democrats is fulfillment of the ground game to bring previous non-voters to polling places Tuesday.

It's going to be like herding cats. The Democrats themselves are motivated beyond belief, but I don't sense a passion among the "previous non-voters."

"Hello, I'm John Effin Kerry, and I'm largely irrelevant."

They are counting on turnout.

In favor of a man whom no one likes, who is irrelevant, and who has no firm policies on anything. Why do they think Democrats will make the effort?

I'm expecting "normal" turnout by the Dems (would have been much reduced turnout without this "special push") and I am expecting higher than normal turnout for the Republicans (we actually have a reason to turnout: we like our guy).

I have finally figured out what the prime factor is in choosing a Democratic candidate.

A VERY high capacity for self delusion.

Given the choice between Kerry and Saddam, I would choose Saddam.

At least you know exactly what Saddam stands for.

All Kerry has is a "PLAN!"

Frankly, I have seen Kerry as being largely irrelevant for weeks now. The real campaign is against the bordello denizens of the "Mainstream Media."

I have been trying to think of an appropriate ressponse to these punks and their treachery. My first instinct was to advocate that the White House refuse press credentials from cBS and The New York Slimes. But that might backfire. Maybe the White House should put out the word that anyone leaking to these punks gets canned--yesterday.
