I'm kind of wondering the same thing, frankly. That's why I'm leaving it in the bag unless I see something especially "fishy." I'd think it could be considered "intimidation." I'd frankly not want a democrat to be videotaping inside the polling area when I'm there....

I've gotten pollwatching credentials for the last 3 elections (2002, 2000, 1998) and carried not only a video camera along but also a cell phone with the phone number of the State Board of Elections stored in memory. Armed with these tools, I got electioneering shut down in at least 4-5 precincts here in northern Cook County (think northern Chicago suburbs) Illinois.
