Today marks day fifty since the Beslan school massacre. Fifty days after Sept 11th the bombing of Afghanistan had barely begun.
What would you have tought THEN of "allies" who had pretty mcuh forgotten that it ever happened?
What would you have thought if the average French, Russians, and English couldn't even name the mastermind behind the attacks, or were completely unaware that the same organization had carried multiple attacks since then, including two within the past twenty-four hours?
Is this a global war on terror or is that just a political talking point?
Has anyone spent one-tenth the time energy and anguish regarding Beslan they demanded of the rest of the world regarding Sept. 11th?
Here, start with these.
1. Twin car bombs injure 13 in Russia's Chechnya

[quote]31 Oct 2004 09:13:28 GMT Source: Reuters GROZNY, Russia, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Two car bombs injured 13 people in the capital of Russia's Chechnya on Sunday, medical staff and officials said. The first explosion hit a convoy of cars carrying pro-Moscow police at 7.40 a.m. (0430 GMT). The second hit the main city hospital 45 minutes later as the wounded were brought in, injuring civilians including a doctor. *****
2. Chechen warlord warns of more civilian targets, willingness to fight Russia for a decade

3. Beslan Girl Gets Free Eye Implant in New York

The operation will take place Friday and will be performed pro bono by The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan, according to a press release from the International Foundation for Terror Act Victims, which has been raising money for Beslan victims.
Note to MSM: Russia is PO'd that you ignore the true face of evil to get your guy elected.. Ohhhhhhhh... thats right, it's just a nuisance.
If we were like our "Allies" we'd be insulting Russians for calling attention to their tragedy, dancing in the streets and telling them they deserved it, instead of helping
give victims of the tragedy free eye transplants.
Screw Russia. I seem to remember them sending their Generals into Iraq before the war. And the old Cold War Generals had worked with the Iraqis to develop the insurgency. As far as I'm concerned, Russia can go screw itself.
I know I sent a thank you card to puty put putin after all the aid he sent us for 9/11, and for assisting us in afghanistan and iraq.
Stole my thunder....
It is a war for us. I wonder if the Russian people would like to join in. We have yet to hear the answer.
We'd also be working behind their backs to assist the terrorists in doing it again or worse yet, to someone else!
Sorry 'bout that cheif!! :)
Don't get steamed at the Russians....get even with our MSM for censoring stories to help their guy.
What happened in Russia was a deplorable thing. However, this ire might be a bit displaced. After 9/11, Russia decided to sit on it's hands instead of helping to fight the war on terror. We are learning that they did so because they were profiting from Hussein's regime.
It seems that Russian leadership should be ashamed and not the U.S. I guess when money wins out over principle, bad things happen. May what happened in Russia never happen again.
Bite me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will you be commenting on this thread you posted? Are the posts to the "Hannity board" yours or someone else's?
Shame on America? For what? Isn't fighting terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan an attempt to stop its spread? Do the Russian people want American troops in their country? Can someone please splain this to me?
Yep...
What is? Everything. Don't you know what "all" means? Duh.
You can't. First you have to get Putin to stop giving nuclear technology to nutjobs in Iran. (Crickets chirp). Oh.
Shame on us for having the balls to take on terrorists in their own backyard in response to 9/11?
Is there anyone on the planet that does not know what our response to a school takeover by terrorists would be?
Let me give you Dems out there a tip.
Allah had better have a hell of a lot of virgins on standby.
Pity the Russians are too worried about world opinion to take the fight to the Chechens.
When Russia ratified Kyoto, they declared war on the USA IMO. I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments.
