Will you be commenting on this thread you posted? Are the posts to the "Hannity board" yours or someone else's?
Shame on America? For what? Isn't fighting terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan an attempt to stop its spread? Do the Russian people want American troops in their country? Can someone please splain this to me?

Yes I will be commenting from time to time although the Freep site is not really a debate site.
Yes, I posted the original on the Hannity Board and dutifully marked this piece as Op-Ed/ Vanity. Freep is great palce to post and read the news, better still because the occaisional Op-ed piece from freepers and visitors can also be posted.
later I will post my thoughts about what our political leaders should be doing are below.
My main purpose was to shame my fellow "neocons" into
- deciding to learn more about Shamil Basayev and his murderous thugs and
- uniting with others (including russia) for Basayev's destruction no less than we expect the rest of the world to unite behind us for the destruction of Osama's and the forty-four other terrorist groups who have attacked American targets in the past 15 years.
Clearly if we the American people cannot unite with the Russians on this issue, then we demonstrate that what we demand of the people of Germany and Russia and France (set aside differences, unite to destroy terrorists) is unreasonable.
I for one, am a true-blooded, died-in-the wool supporter of the War on Terror, and I (for one) am willing to overlook our differences with Russia and do all the things I expect the Russians, the French etc. to do. I, for one, truly believe that stuff about setting aside our differences and uniting.
FACT
Over 200 Chechan "separatists" were caught by coalition forces fighting in Afghanistan to defend Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.
