I'm still counting on your prediction and helping too. Tomorrow I will walk/drive from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM in under-performing precincts northeast of Grand Rapids.
I don't know what to make of the model here. Turnout looks to be a little higher than what's projected but not out of line. Bush looks to gain 350,000 more votes than in 2000, Kerry 184,000 more than Gore. It's all down to getting out the vote now. I notice Gore went to various churches today, from Grand Rapids, to Lansing to Flint. Kennedy was in Detroit, the mayor made his way to 4 or 5 churches and Kerry will be there tomorrow.
Granholm said today that Kerry would take the state by 6. Down deep I know she doesn't want Kerry in the White House, then she will have nobody to blame for her incompetence.
Looks believeable enough.
And I'll take it!

My mother will be 97 come December 1. She has never voted Republican, never. This year she voted Bush on her absentee ballot. I know because I signed as a witness for her. All of my immediate family voted for Gore last time. This year they voted for Bush.
nice numbers. I hope you are close and win lots of credibility for future elections.
I recently (Friday night/Saturday morn.) heard on a radio talk show (can't remember for sure which one) that a man claiming to be an elector from WV said if Bush carries WV, he may not cast his electoral vote for Bush. I wonder, if true, what kind of SH*t storm would rain down on him?
Your computer result has some wildly lopsided results for some states. Must be operating on thin information for this to be so.
actually he has French relations...I think he has a cousin that is a mayor in some French town. When he was going to boarding school he would vacation in France...his growing up years were spent in Europe...that's where he gets his attitude.
It was an upset!
Deal w/ it!

Thanks for the info, I had not been aware that the county was so GOP.
Actually, there's one little problem here.... You see, according to the Democrats, George Bush did not win the election in 2000. He stole it and is not the "legitimate" president. Therefore, this "yardstick" was dismissed last time out.
Oh puh-leeeeze!! It was a good-ole, down-home country butt-whoopin! The only upset was the cryin' goin' on on the Pats' plane on the way back to Foxboro.
No, it was an upset! bwahahahahahahahaha
Get over it.

Same with a member of my family. My sister-in-law has NEVER registered and NEVER voted in her life. She is 50 years old.
This year she registered and is voting for President Bush. Thank God!!
That's close enough for me. AFA I'm concerned any percentage of French blood qualifies him as French. And he is dorky looking, So Mom is 100% correct after all.
