Halloween masks predict next president (100% accuracy since 1980)(Bush leading)
Pittsburgh Tribune ^ | Oct. 31, 2004 | Eric Heyl

In 2000, the Wisconsin-based costume company began tracking presidential candidate mask sales by five different mask manufacturers and asked 12 different chains to research their sales history.

What they found was remarkable: Since 1980, the candidate whose likeness has outsold his opponent's likeness has won the White House.

So you can throw out the confusing, contradictory polling numbers being released almost hourly now by Time, Newsweek, Reuters/Zogby, ABC/Washington Post, CNN/USA Today/Gallup and Pooh Bear/Piglet/Christopher Robin.

The numbers that truly matter, the numbers that unfailingly point to who will emerge victorious in the presidential election, are the number of Bush and Kerry Halloween masks being purchased.

According to the Internet site's statistics as of yesterday, Bush held a slight lead over Kerry.

FoxNews seemed to indicate just now, that the Bush masks are handily outselling the Kerry masks.

I was debating, whether this is worth Front Page News status, but considering that we posts polls there, I figured, that since this seems to be a more accurate predictor of who wins, than the polls, it does deserve Front Page Status.

Of course this post may cause Soros to rush out and buy a few million Kerry masks, to push Kerry ahead, but that doesn't count, because, if we can keep the Dem fraud down, Soros won't have a million extra votes just for himself.

The article referred to buycostumes.com. I checked, and found that Bush masks are sold out!

Get ready for a landslide. :)

But don't get complacent, Bush needs your vote!

I imagine this just another example of the Roe Effect in action...

All the Kerry supporters children were aborted, so no need to buy a dead fetus a halloween mask!

Skerry may be a bit inflated in sales this year due to the fact he looks like something you would see on Halloween. Bush doesn't have that effect, good to see he is leading.

Our church had a costume party last evening. As the kids paraded on stage there were sporadic giggles and claps. Then one youngster paraded in with a suit and a Bush mask. The whole church erupted with shouts and applause - you would have thought it was "W" himself. It was great !

The only reason this is reliable is that its not relied upon. Were it to be seriously considered it would immediately cease to be reliable because both sides would start buying masks in bulk to skew the numbers.

Ditto for regular polls.

Nothing that is trusted is reliable because its all manipulated.

I believe their actually counting all 'lurch' and 'frankenstein' masks as kerry mask sales.

I think the Redskins are even more accurate.

We should know in a few hours who will win on Tuesday. There's no score yet so far.

Sorry, but the Redskins thingy is the one that needs to go (plus I'm a Packer fan).

But really, that is coincidence, buying masks and cups indicates a preference.

Go Pack!

"I believe their actually counting all 'lurch' and 'frankenstein' masks as kerry mask sales."

How can you tell the difference?

I dressed up as Kerry for Halloween. I didn't bother with the mask. I wore hunting fatigues, a Bosox hat ( brand new) and taped 20 or 30 purple hearts to me and a couple of stuffed geese. My wife carried my geese for me, of course.

You would think more people would buy Kerry masks because they scare people and make children cry. ;-) Teresa masks would be even worse!

How about some Elizabeth Edwards fat lady costumes? Hee hee. I shouldnt make fun of her because of her weight problem. I am heavy too. But I think she is just not a nice person.

Interesting article, there, even though I want that "indicator" to go.

I really like the Weekly Reader and Scholastic results, too. Again, choices, not lucky coincidence as a football game is.

The Redskins thing is stupid, but of course they announced it on tv today...let's hope the Skins win today just so we don't have to hear about it all night if they don't

And how many Kerry masks were bought by Teresa. I guarantee you that there have been mass buys for Kerry-- nobody, I mean nobody, wants to play Kerry for Halloween.
