COLUMBUS, Ohio - Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore plans to have hundreds of cameras outside polling places in Ohio and Florida on Election Day to watch for attempts to suppress voter turnout.

The director of the anti-Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" announced Saturday that a total of 1,200 professional and nonprofessional cameramen, filmmakers and videographers will bring their cameras to polling places in the two presidential battleground states, especially in minority communities.
"I'm putting those who intend to suppress the vote on notice: Voter intimidation and suppression will not be tolerated," Moore said in a statement.
Moore, who was in Columbus for a rally Saturday night, planned visits to Ohio and Florida on Tuesday, his publicist Terri Hardesty said.

/Sarcasm Dozens of cameramen outside your polling station--that wouldn't be intimidating. No, sir. They're there to "protect your vote" especially if you're a GOP leaning minority. /sarcasm off

The real truth is that Moore is simply shooting footage from which he can manufacture "voter intimidation." The truth does not matter, only the imagery.

I intend to be at my polling place with "a few friends". We take our voting seriously, and our right to privacy while we vote. To film us, would be tantamount to voter intimidation, and a violation of that right to privacy. I, for one, am sick and tired of this crap. If anybody gets in my face, I will remove theirs.(<<<<< and that's a period there)

Hopefully, somebody will be videotaping Mr. Moore as well.

Could work against the Dems; if the tapes are subpoened and non-Flrodians/Ohioans and/or illegals are on the tapes.. could keep illegal aliens at home, too.

To film us, would be tantamount to voter intimidation, and a violation of that right to privacy. I can't find the law about that, and information seems to only mention minorities. If you see anybody doing that though, play it safe and call the cops regardless.

They're going to film people as they go in to vote? I would find that intimidating. Is Moore so stupid to think minorites won't be intimidated if they see a bunch of white guys filming them as they go in to vote?

Woooo Hoooo!
I love it. It's a great idea.
Once the precedent is set, we got them by the ****S.
The 'Rats don't have the attention span to follow through and actually find the people who vote several times or are not qualified to vote altogether.
Those are still crimes, right?
Right?

I hope he does have cameras all over the place. Then the FEC can confiscate all the films and compare them to see who's voting more than once, fine them, and put them in a cell.

But... nobody has more legal standing than a legitimate voter who has his vote diluted or canceled by criminals. Why can't we file suit as individuals and compel the "authorities" to start presecuting clear crimes?
