Debka was reporting this last night but the thread was pulled for no other reason than the source was Debka.

The Fox announcer made the comment that we had no available drones for this little exercise, "all were deployed to Iraq". Unbelievable, but he said it.

Right...and I don't believe it.

That's a good enough reason for me. If Debka said the sun was shining in the daytime. I'd go outside to check

What's the deal with Debka? They report lots of "inside" stuff that doesn't pan out? Are they playing disinformation games for Mossad or something?

Debka is to serious journalism as Bat Boy is to medical research.

I agree, but weren't they the first to report Saddam had been captured?

How do you solve a problem like Debka?
How do you catch some spin and pin it down?
How do you find a word that means Debka?
A flibbertijibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A clown!

Many a thing you know you'd like to tell it
Many a thing it ought to understand
But how do you make it stay
And listen to all you say
How do you keep a mirage upon the sand

Oh, how do you solve a problem like Debka?
How do you hold a moonbat in your hand?

Here's a compromise - we can and will transport 2 or 3 hungry Replicators inside Michael Moore's underpants.

How will you obtain these Replicators? Surely you do not store any, for obvious reasons? :)

I cannot confirm that. I remember that I found out that he had been captured on FreeRepublic.

How will you obtain these Replicators?

Direct one-way point-to-point transport from an infected planet where all the life forms are aluminum-based. They are never rematerialized aboard our vessel, so there is no danger of contamination. And as you know, since Replicators take the form of what they last consumed, their bodies are aluminum and therefore easily destroyed. You can even recycle them.

no reports have yet solidly stated "WHERE" exactly the IAF picked him up(if it was him).If he was clearly in Indian territory,he would have been dead ages ago.The problem is that the borders India shares with China & Pakistan in that region are high altitude & very rugged terrain,so it's not exactly easy to demarcate or fence.Hence if India (or an American ICBM) were to use force without confirming that he is in Indian territory, there would be a real risk of the Chinese or the Pakis(Who have helped each other over the past 50 years in keeping India tied down to the subcontinent) escalating it into a full scale conflict(something a brief glance of their past history would confirm).

Fox is my main source of TV news.

I would be very surprised if they hadn't checked this out.

Quick prayer that this is indeed a credible lead.

I remember that I found out that he had been captured on FreeRepublic.

Me, too. I was posting at an indecent hour and saw the flash traffic, ran to the TV and got to see the breaking-in coverage on CBS, I think it was. I'm one of the few people in town who got to see the press conference live, when the Iraqi journalists finally saw the imagery of El Supremo getting checked for lice and they totally lost it, screaming and yelling in Arabic -- it was tremendous. They finally realized it: they were going to be free. Really, truly free. It was an amazing moment.

DEBKA mentioned it yesterday.

Bin Laden Videotape Was Hit-and-Run Assault on US Election
http://www.debka.com/article.php?aid=928

Bin Laden was actually spotted in the flesh just a few days ago - according to DEBKAfile’s counter terror sources. Between October 17 and October 19, an Indian air force reconnaissance plane picked him up in the Tibet-Laddakh region close to the North-Eastern corner of Pakistan bordering India and China. Additional surveillance aircraft were called in and identified the al Qaeda leader on the move with a 10-vehicle convoy of black Japanese minivans. Four of the vehicles turned up again on October 22 heading east towards the Chinese border. Our sources maintain that the rumored sightings of bin Laden on the Lingzi Thang Plain on the Tibetan border in June may have been true then but are now outdated. In any case, he was not at the time in Pakistani Waziristan or the Afghan-Pakistani border.

The agents hunting the al Qaeda leader are working on the premise that he has decided to wait out the winter months in one of two regions: Hunza province in the Northern Frontier tip of Indian Kashmir or Little Pamir, where fanatical Tajik tribes have never allowed any Kabul government - whether Taliban or led by Karzai - to secure a foothold. Little Pamir is wedged between Tajikistan

where Russian special forces taking part in the bin Laden dragnet are deployed and China.
"

It was posted to DEBKA and here yesterday.

& it doesn't bother you that the region where this sighting has been made is close to China & Pakistan?both nuclear powers & who are not exactly pro-India,so any nuclear blast will be interpreted as an Indian attack on them.So people, hold your nerves.

That's great! I'm sure Moore and friends will be more than happy to recycle those. :)
