I think the only reason they were not spot on in 2000 was the last minute DUI sleaze attack. I predict Bush will win with near 300 or a little over.

This is a favorable poll, Drudge has some saying Kerry has pulled slightly ahead...
I hate that....

When is the final GW Battleground Poll out?
Gallup and Time today/Monday will be important. They are the last ones of the campaign, and like Newsweek are staking their "careers" on it, unlike the tracking polls where they still have three days to fix things.

This year we have the bin Laden tape....
Drudge has a note that says the Democrats have a Focus group going to study it's impact.

Here's a link for the Softvote.com graph for the last week. Notice that a move started last night. Granted that this is an online poll, but folks still have to be motivated to move on it.

Their numbers look far more consistant over time than the other polls. They also look too good to be true, but I'll take it.

The problem is, the winning poll for 2000 was Zogby's, according to
http://www.tarrance.com/files/BG_Poll_%20Vote_Projections.pdf As of today, Zogby has JFK2 ahead, K47-B46, and says he's trending to a win (as told to a NY reporter, late yesterday). That plus the initial UBL bounce appears to be Kerry's. To soon to tell, but I'm not as encouraged as you.

I was just asked to do a poll for Polling Point online. Does anyone know how they are as pollsters? There certainly weren't any BS questions.

That along with weekend polling consistently being unfavorable to the GOP, makes me not worry. Let's see what the polls show Monday.

You sure managed to throw a lot of doom and gloom into your post. Where's your evidence of a favorable bump to Kerry from bin Laden's videotape appearance?
