Geraldo just interviewed Col. David Hunt and allowed him to allege that the al-QaQaa explosives are now killing our servicemen!*&!
Perhaps this segment was pre-recorded, but then FOXNews needs to make an announcement and not broadcast the word "Live" in the corner.
EOD and Intel people I had talked to stated RDX and other explosives UN and Geraldo worry about HAVE NOT been use against our troops.
Actually, Geraldo was actually defending the troops but Col Hunt clearly had an agenda.
Watch or tape the re-broadcast at 1:00am (Eastern), and you can hear it for yourself. You may be as stunned as I was to hear this spewing forth from the mouth of Col. Hunt. [Also, see posts 7 and 18.]
Strange how ammo allegedly missing for 18 months, is now killing our troops. What the hell were they using before, the great election eve revelation by the Kerry kissing Bush bashing, rectums associated with the UN? Spit balls?
No, that is Kerry who dreams of wars fought with spit balls, isn't it?
Check this out.
Why did FOX hire him?
I've had that question about a lot of Fox hires in the past several of years.
and Geraldo may well have been the first person on FNC to say point blank that this Al Qa Qa story was released by El Baredi to hurt Bush politically.
I think he's pissed about Falujah. He wanted it taken down a long time ago. I remember him saying it needed to be flattened.
I have an idea for a game show that can't fail. It will be called,"Smash Geraldo's nose again and again and again and again and again and again and again...........
makes you wonder whether roger ailes watches his own network
I'm not new! He said it!! I heard him.
I believe you. Faithincowboy must not have read the posts in this thread.
It's good to be cautious, but see posts 7,18,25,27,29,and 38.
Geraldo and Greta need to go from Fox.
Geraldo was twice caught lying in Afghanistan and Iraq.
All Greta talks about is Scott Peterson.

So the New York Times got it wrong again! The now infamous tons of weapons gone missing in Iraq turns out to be not quite as true as first reported. How nice for the current Administration.
The bigger story, the bigger catastrophe, is the failure of this Administration - - - especially the Department of Defense - - - in not guarding weapons sites all over Iraq, even to this day.
Why should we care?
We should, and I do, because these unguarded weapons sites are supplying the deadly explosives for the roadside bombs that have been killing and maiming our soldiers by the thousands.
By the thousands, my friends.
Look, American Presidents start wars and sometimes end them, but they usually do not direct the battles - - - unless they're LBJ and pick the actual bombing targets. But that is another story for another time.
And no, President Bush did not say to Donald Rumsfeld, hey Rummy, dont bother guarding millions of tons of explosives and rockets. Its ok. Let them be.
However, President Bush does have some culpability because he has not fired Rummy for the disaster that is the current, but still winnable, Guerilla War.
We all make mistakes, but still not guarding weapons sites is a mistake.
But even today, we hear denial from this Administration. Hey, keep your denial, hire the guards, secure the explosives and take care of this problem now.
And we should be charging those who had a hand in this type of incompetence with criminal negligence. This is how serious I am.
The terrorists have killed and are still killing our soldiers, but the idiots who did not guard and are still not guarding these weapons sites have blood on their hands.

I was more talking about the waiting we did to try to get UN on board.

That puts the issue of where Hunt stands to rest. Hunt may be politically ignorant. It might explain why he is not General Hunt. If you've got a beef right before an election you've got to ask yourself how it will be used and distorted to affect the election if you open your yap. Either he has asked himself this and is a Kerry supporter or he is politically ignorant.
I'm pretty po'd at his attitude. I had a great deal of respect for him, but blasting the administration is BS. He's never done that before. Somebody got to him. Or, maybe it's the thin Montana air.
