A part-time college instructor has apologized for kicking a student because he was wearing a Republican shirt. Fort Lewis College student Mark O'Donnell said he was showing people his College Republicans sweat shirt, which said "Work for us now ... or work for us later," when Maria Spero kicked him in the leg at an off-campus restaurant.

Yep. 'Fight'en Whites' was the name picked by a mixed race intramural team at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. It was a good natured jab at the use of Native American names for college teams.
The shirt featured a white man in 1950's business man attire...hat and all. They sold a lot of them...around $30,000 worth and were looking to establish a scholarship the last I heard. They had a website for a while. I don't know if they are still in business...
And tell them that they are there to rescue those 72 virgins!
lol
"I acted entirely inappropriately by kicking you, giving vent to a thoughtless knee-jerk political reaction that should never have happened," she wrote.
Of course Maria kicked out impulsively. She's afraid that a Kerry defeat may mean some kind of limits on the torrent of taxpayer cash currently flowing out to cover the illegals' cozy ride on the Free Medical Treatment gravy train.
Here's the course Spera teaches at Fort Lewis College.
Talk about the fox in the henhouse.
Any wonder this teacher went knee-jerk ballistic at the sight of that student's Republican sweat shirt?

Are people in Colorado this crazed about Politics??? GEE I hope not.
Had that been a male professor that kicked me I can assure you that the kick would have been returned.
No, technically, it is battery. Assault is a swing and a miss. If you make contact, it is battery.
Liberals are totalitarians at heart who cannot stand opposing viewpoints. They say they oppose hate speech, yet they exemplify it. THANK GOD for our brilliant founding fathers who saw liberals like her coming and designed our consitution to protect OUR rights as well as theirs!
Ms. Spero needs to look deep in that open-minded, liberal, and tolerant heart of hers and realize she is not who she thinks she is.

Can't find any sign of the President
She probably cuts the grade of conservative students who do not agree with her too.
I hope this isn't the real headline. This grammer sucks.
That's the only thing people like the teacher would understand.
well stated!
Battery. Assault is the threat, battery the physical action.
freeped
A ping for you!!
thanks for correcting me. my complete disdain for edwards has caused the "legal" side of my brain to stop working.
Yep, and I will laugh all the way as they're put down, either by U.S. government or by us.
I got my ammo ready!
