A part-time college instructor has apologized for kicking a student because he was wearing a Republican shirt. Fort Lewis College student Mark O'Donnell said he was showing people his College Republicans sweat shirt, which said "Work for us now ... or work for us later," when Maria Spero kicked him in the leg at an off-campus restaurant.

well as long as they apologised.
Once again, a person of peace and tolerance shows their true colors.
Wow! Taking knew-jerk liberal reactions to a new level!
And these are the pacifist nutbags teaching our kids...
Time to draft all these hating & violent lesbos into the army to fight where it'll do some good.
what about the T-shirt? I want one too!
Tolerance!

So I guess she thinks it would have been okay had he not been a Fort Lewis student.
The Democrats are totally losing it. When I saw the way they mangled my B-C sign, I knew that whomever did that was nutty.
I'll guess there will be at least five "comment removed by moderator" posts on this thread.
I'll not make mine one of them by saying only that I don't like that guy very much.
"Before the incident, I did not know you and that you are a Fort Lewis student."
Of course, had you not been a student where I was teaching, my actions would have been wholly appropriate.
Kicked the student!!! That is assault!!!
I know, I'm not that surprised at the story. But, I too am a college instructor and it just turns my stomach to hear this. We are those who are supposed to be setting examples and being role models for students. It is revolting to hear this.
LOL, at first I thought the headline had things backwards.
These people are pigs.
Freep this f*ck!!!

sounds like a case of assault to me.
"O'Donnell said the apology wasn't enough and he plans to file a complaint with the college. "
No kidding. It's mindblowing that this professor and the college president think that saying 'sorry' is the end of this. The professor should be fired. Based on the reaction of the school I would say the Dean should be fired as well.
The 70's are over.
assault and battery right?
