After the revelations of today, 10/29/04, where a US Army Major revealed that his unit had destroyed 250 tons of munitions at the Al QaQua facility, and after the latest Osama bin Laden video...I am revising my election prediction upward for Bush. I honestly believe that many more Americans will vote for Bush after Bin Laden spouted the Kerry/DNC/Michael Moore talking points, and after Kerry's knee jerk reation regarding the munitions have been wholly discredited.
Exactly. Maybe it's because I am in a Dem stronghold, I think you are too, that we see how many of them there are. So I have
my experience and a nontrivial number of polls to get me worried about it.
I'm with you. Water's warm and comfortable...and we have to keep treading, agitating...working to keep it that way!
Thanks Scott...may our hard work, our commitment, our prayers and our faith make it so.
Preciting 350, hoping for 400...praying for 270!
What in the world was I looking at I had those maps mixed up in my hard head. I still say I'll be back on this thread on the 3rd to congratulate you on your perdiction!!
Red more appropriately fits the DNC, their rhetoric, their record and their actions IMHO
I agree...and there will be a larger turnout of independents, moderats...you name...it too!
Get moving...but keep working all along the way. We're not there yet!
I agree. We need Wisconsin or Hawaii.
I think, judging by where we're at, that Karl Rove ain't that
smart. He had 4 years to win Gore states and he doesn't look poised to do it. I personally would have sent a lot of pork to Ohio. We spent and spent and spent. A couple billion to get the Reagan Democrats in OH back to work would have been money
well spent.
Cone on down! We'll make the mother of all FR celebration threads!
I join in prayer for our country and a return to its Christian roots.
"There is much to be worreid about and concerned about. It is a temptuous and dangerous time we live in, no doubt about it."
Yeah, it sure is.
"But hard work, faith and prayer will get us through. BTW...regarding your screen name...there's still plenty of honest to goodness cowboys around in this part of the country...[[wink]]"
I'm counting on that fact...
Bet Conn goes for Bush.
II Chron 7:14
I'll meet ya here!!!!
I hope you are right, but how do you get Ohio and Florida? The numbers I have seen do not seem that hopeful.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1262491/posts -- not far off for algore, either.
Thanks, Jeff -- thanks for your analysis. I've been praying that there is a moment of truth and fear of God for each voter before the ballot is cast.
Bommer's video really spells it out: http://pages.sbcglobal.net/bommer/When_The_Man_Comes_Around.html
All of that is necessary.
No one believed in 1980 that Reagan would have the absolute landslide that he had. We may not have that proportion...but we can still have a big win, particularly after the events of yesterday.
We shall see.
...and if we do not...then we cinch up our belts, dig in our heals, and go forward committed to work all the harder and apply those same traits (commitment, hard work, faith and prayer) as we fight to get 'er back.
From your lips (or keyboard at least)....
BTW...I too am a native Texan (country NW of Denton), now living in Idaho spreading the good word up here in these beautiful mountains amongst a very God-fearing, very conservative and constitutional bunch of folks!
