After the revelations of today, 10/29/04, where a US Army Major revealed that his unit had destroyed 250 tons of munitions at the Al QaQua facility, and after the latest Osama bin Laden video...I am revising my election prediction upward for Bush. I honestly believe that many more Americans will vote for Bush after Bin Laden spouted the Kerry/DNC/Michael Moore talking points, and after Kerry's knee jerk reation regarding the munitions have been wholly discredited.
Here's my original projection from 10/15/2004.

I'm waiting until Tuesday. Everyone I know is voting Bush, but a lot of anti-Bush letters in the paper the past week... I did hear from a friend that quite a few people he knows aren't voting because they are mad about the deficit and border (Republicans)

Jeff, I love your optimism. I think that the President will be reelected, too, but I'm betting that the race ends up close.
My own prediction is that the numbers will be tight enough for Kerry to sit on his hands and refuse to make a concession call to President Bush. We'll wake up on Nov. 3rd with enough Blue electoral votes to give W another four years, but the rat barstid lawyer brigade will have to run out of steam before it's all official.
I much prefer your scenario and hope and pray you're right. We'll find out in a few days.

He was too cleaned-up and healthy-looking to be hiding in a cave or in Northern Pakistan... the only place he can hide we can't touch is in Iran. It's been rumored for a year now and Bush can't say anything to tip his hand or go in there to get him.
If he was in Pakistan we'd have him with the cooperation with Musharaff. Kerry has already said "he's going to come down hard on Musharaff." (stupid) and he wants to give more nuclear material to Iran (go figure)... I vote for Iran.

Unfortunately those good kids are over in Iraq or Afghanistan protecting us while the politicians try to figure how to not count their votes and in the case of PA TO COUNT the votes of anyone in prison.
To: Denver Ditdat
Yes we will find out in a few days.
I am predicting 350, hope for 400 but will ceretainly settle for 270. Praying and working hard the whole way, whatever the outcome.

we agree.....cool ..nice analysis

Anyone in Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc., should remind everyone before Tuesday that Kerry wants to ban snowmobiles from wilderness (even though he rides one in the Idaho Wilds).

If we can hold things through the weekend...
I believe you will be shown to be correct.
What is the level required for the proverbial 'landslide' classification?

Thanks for getting the colors right, Jeff. That was deliberate propaganda, the media saddling us with permanent IIRC, blue has been used for incumbents and red for challengers long before the Bush/Gore 2000 campaign. We just got accustomed to hearing about "red" and "blue" states in the wake of the Goron's messy self-destruction.

Actually, I believe it is fortunate that they are there...I also believe that we will have a big enough turnout, turnover and victory to overcome the fraud, deceit, lies and mechanisms of the opposition.
We shall see...it will take a lot of hard work and prayer in any case on all of our parts.

I don't know exactly what it takes technically...but I believe it would have to be over 400 EVs and probably over 10% popular margin.

Enjoyed both of the linked websites... great working environments and mutual respect to you and other tireless citizens for remaining vigilant at home.
I am heading to the chow hall for lunch momentarily. It's 0736Z or 1236L depending on your taste for time.
A bit of a digression on a subject of another poster.
When the enemy (dems msm liberals etc.) squawk (drone on) mindlessly about how we (GWB personally) haven't captured the summation of evil OBL, I am reminded of how long it took the various law enforcement agencies in America to apprehend the Unabomber. Without a tip by his brother, who knows how long he would have remained at large.
Eric Rudolph was another fugitive that remained at large for 5 years, evading capture by a task force of 1,000 G-men. Both men lived lives of solitude, receiving little to no outside assistance.
OBL on the other hand, has (literally) millions of people, in one of the most remote, inhospitable regions of the world, willing to offer up shelter and other means of support so that such a diabolical beast may continue to avoid capture.
