OH , I disagree. The tape REMINDS people that there is a REAL threat to the United States, and it is not just a nuisance. I think most people want to live and they will think about national security first...when they go into the voting booths.

I completely agree with your assessment. I think this tape does two things for Bush. First, it makes it all but certain that the election will be decided by the terror issue, his strongest issue. Second, it knocks out, or at least reduces, the blistering anti-Bush stories the MSM were going to hammer home over the final weekend. I think the Bush campaign is positioned about as well as it could be going into the election.
