Watching CNN and MSNBC the commentators look depressed when talking about this Bib Laden tape. Chris Mathews looks like he wants to hide under the table when they say how this is bad for Kerry

I don't think the OBL tape necessarily helps Bush directly, but the last thing MSNBC, CNN, et al, want to be talking about is OBL. Doing so doesn't help Kerry.
I haven't watched any news or cable news for the past 2 weeks, but tuned in for a couple minutes just a few minutes ago to MSNBC and you're right--Matthews sure didn't look happy, that's for sure.
Surprised they aired it all.

Yes. Apparently the "progressives" in the MSM weren't prepared for a Kerry campaign commercial financed by the the Al Queda 527 group.
