I just heard on an Akron radio station that two women volunteers at the Cuyahoga County Bush Victory Center were assaulted by thugs from ACORN, 50 of whom descended on the Headquarters to 'protest.'
One woman was hit in the stomach, and the other in the arm and the leg. I also heard that charges would be pressed.
This has got to STOP!
If anyone has more details, please post them here.....

I don't disagree with you folks at all. I just want BUSH to do something to stop voter fraud. There is no way he will deal with voter fraud or any tangental items that lead to voter fraud. I am not fighting with you or any one else. I suggested that people at least write to the WH, perhaps BUSH may do something. BTW, he has had 4 years to do something and this election fraud is no surprise, only the extent might be.

The other day in FL some rat nut tried to run over Katherine Harris as she crossed the street. He actually told the police it was his FREE politcal speech "right" and he only scared her, not hit her. Words fail me - grab the cuffs and make them tight!

The problem is, both issues are law enforcement issues which Bush cannot simply solve with an executive order.Seems to me that congress itself would have to enact real election procedural changes.

I'm sorry, but this is silly.
Check out all that Ken Blackwell has done, please. He's working with the President.

Yes it does .. and what bothers me the most is NOT ONE STINKING DEMOCRAT HAS STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND TOLD THESE PEOPLE TO STOP DOING THIS STUFF.
As long as the dems are not willing to say this should stop .. they get the blame for encouraging it.

OK Researched Ken Blackwell...
Most of the stuff is negative, probably left wing, but if the following is that to which you refer, I get a big ? ref: http://chris-bowers.mydd.com/story/2004/9/27/125755/309 " Voters-rights advocates are criticizing two recent decisions by Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell that they say will unfairly limit some people's ability to vote Nov. 2. Blackwell's office has told county boards of elections to follow strictly two provisions in Ohio election law: * One requires Ohio voter registration cards be printed on thick, 80-pound stock paper. * The other ordered boards to strictly interpret the rules regarding provisional ballots, the ones cast by voters who move before the election but are still registered in Ohio. The paper-stock issue is frustrating Montgomery County Board of Elections officials, who have a backlog of registrations to complete. If they get an Ohio voter registration card on paper thinner than required, they are mailing a new card out to the voter. But if they still have the backlog by the registration deadline, Oct. 4, voters will not have another chance to get their correct paperwork in, said Steve Harsman, deputy director of the Montgomery County board. In Montgomery County there is a backlog of around 4,000 registrations, Harsman said. A few hundred could be affected by this provision, he said."

EXACTLY, Cyber. 50 thugs come into the Republican HQ, two volunteers get hurt, and the Dems say NOTHING (except that it was the volunteers who tried to hurt THEM!)
THE DEMS GET THE BLAME FOR THIS GARBAGE!

Point taken. I really don't see this as a fight at all, just some disagreements. You do have a valid point about voter fraud, I really don't know what President Bush can do about it, it is more of a local or State issue. I know the Kerry-ites and DUmmies do have lawyers lined up and I know our side will have them too. I'm concerned about fraud too, I live near Pittsburgh, heck, we have pur share of George Romero type zombies that pop out of the ground and vote but Philly has us beat with scads of them. I guess we all need to keep our eyes open and if you can lug a camera or camcorder with you.
We need to stay focused on the goal of keeping Bush in office and then work on these issues afterward. Maybe we should have been working on some of them in the last 4 years but other things got in the way it seems. Well, we all need to remain united especially against these pukes I saw in the thread below:

U R right, no D'rat has said stop. But they claim it is us. That is the reason I say BUSH has to take action to stop it all. I know many here don't like my thoughts or think my statements are not part of the same context with respect to the fraudulent process. E.g. illegals - well the Dems want cheap votes and the Reps want cheap labor and it is my America that suffers, one way or another.
Instead of doing something directly aimed at preventing voter fraud, some allude to other great acts that have nothing to do with stopping fraud. Some advocate guns, Nat'l Guard etc. Great bravado, but BUSH is Pres and needs to do something or SAY SOMETHING. This voter fraud is not minor. Voter Fraud attacks our very system of government.

I have been waiting for the public to see the dems behavior and be so revolted as to provide a backlash.
sadly it never came.
until there is a backlash against them the dems will continue to get more lawless and violent.

Maybe we should have been working on some of them in the last 4 years but other things got in the way it seems. Other things like a brutal attack, and a War on Terror.....
I agree that these are matters to be addressed in the President's second term, and believe that in the aftermath of the 2000 debacle, there isn't much that he could have done (at least publicly) without tremendous repercussions.
I also believe that, as in many other areas of his administration, things have happened under the radar that have not been for public consumption. We ARE seeing things detected prior to the election that have not been seen before.

I fear that when the backlash comes, we will be seeing dead people.
To: Nowhere Man
Well said. We have no choice but to attack the problem later. However, fraud has been going on and increasing for years. In the last election, the Dems had Bill Daley, son of the Machine Politician Mayor Daley (Chicago) running their campaign and attack against Florida. That was in 2000.
Prior to that I know there was voter fraud going on in NYC when Guiliani ran against Dinkens (D). Guiliani lost the first time because all the illegals and in particular the illegal Dominican Drug dealers / money launderers were voting...and they had several IDs. The next election saw Cops and Firemen at the Polls - Guiliani won.
It is time to stop ALL VOTER FRAUD and INTIMIDATION. It is time to apply and enforce the law before people do take up arms. Personally, I thought there was a small chance that we would have tanks in the streets of DC if Gore had not conceded in the last election. We were close to a Constitutional crises the last time. The reforms by the politicians have not been effective and are a sham. In essence they sent some dollars to their friends to feign reform.
