The poll is done by Opinion Dynamics. Not by Fox.

Hmmm.....does this mean the bogus Halliburton story isn't washing with the public this time, or do these polls not represent the shift the bogus Halliburton story will reflect by Monday....

Essentially, the election is over. I can't find one person (on either side of "the aisle") where I work who isn't ready to slit their wrists if they have to watch anymore of this.
Minds are made up. And those who don't know by now shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a polling place.
These polls are all in-the-range-of-error or giving Bush a slight edge outside the range. Short of a terrorist attack, nothing at this point will have a solid impact one way or the other.
The only thing they need to do is tie up the toss-up states and pray real hard for a clear electoral victory.

Excellent news. Thanks for the PING... This and Battleground make me feel a little better. Averaging these with Zogby & Tipp, Bush is up 2.5% across all 4.

I hope it's right, but Fox News is spinning so hard right now that they don't have a ton of credibility.
Fox has more credibility in their little finger than CBS,ABC,NBC, New York Times and LA Times combined!
After all its not Fox that forged documents in order to bring a sitting US President down, CBS did all that by themselves.
And its not Fox that has a secret memo asking their reporters to skew news polls etc etc for John Karry. That was ABC.
These days Fox seems to have even more Democrats on it than Republicans. Only difference between Fox and the networks is Fox IS fair and balanced. So we KNOW their poll is the real deal.
GO BUSH!

Looking at realclearpolitics.com...
How in the weird world can Kerry have a 51% general approval rating?
All is not morning, in America. We sure need W. for another four years.

"The nationals are ok but in 2000 their state polls sucked"
Still better than Zogby's state polls in 2002 any day.

"Minds are made up. And those who don't know by now shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a polling place."
What I love even more about this poll is, President Bush is already polling 50%, so it doesn't make one hoot of difference to him which way the so-called undecided turn to. No matter how you twist it, Bush still wins! Just great!

He was up 7 in the last poll. We really need a big push this weekend to put the Demonrats away!!!!

If this particular pollster lacks credibility, it's only because it has leaned too far toward Kerry in the past. For a long time, Opinion Dynamics was one of the best polls for the more liberal of Massachusetts's two senators.

"Earlier in the year, we were all criticizing Fox because their polls always seemed to be too low for Bush. If they're using the same methodology, this is really encouraging"
That makes this poll even more significant. The Fox Polls have always polled lower numbers for President Bush, so this 5 point edge that Bush has over Kerry with just 4 days to go is very impressive.
This business is essentially over.
President Bush will win.
