Heard this on Greta last night... the 911 call is chilling to be sure. I couldn't believe the dispatcher kept it together. Praying for this boy to heal, find peace and a good home.

I wonder what Tacoma's tax-and-spend liberals have been doing instead of upgrading their 911 system.

I heard that tape played on Fox. It was chilling. I could not believe that he was so calm. Poor little guy. When he gets out of the hospital, he's going to have to find a new home, because his dad will be in prison for many years. I do hope a relative will take him in and treat him good. He's going to need a stable home and a LOT of TLC to be able to get over the trauma he's been through.

Bwaaa? Ok, what does this imply? Temporary insanity? Drugs? It doesn't sound like what you'd expect your average, run-of-the-mill killer to do.
While I've no sympathy for Mr. Sukto, imagine what it'd be like to wake up from a drug haze (or a schizophrenic episode of some sort) and find you've murdered your family. Bleah.

I had an odd thought, maybe this is a side effect of the desensitization to violence from video games our kids are exposed to. All those video games let the kid describe the situation calmly. Maybe the weakness from blood loss put him in a daze also.

Oh I needed that story...Was already crying, I told my husband that housework was bad for your health...I tripped over something while carrying a heavy box of photo albums...that's when I needed a Freeper Lift...Glad I read that story...Now I have a real reason to cry...

Damn, damn damn. What a terrible thing to have happen. Thank God this poor boy survived -- I hope he lives this down in time. Words fail to express the sadness of an event like this.

Was this guy schizophrenic?
A guy I know went nuts and killed his mother with a knife a few months ago. He was schizophrenic and had even been in an institution for a few days before it happened, they deemed him no danger. Mental disease is not dealt with properly in this state (Washington) for fear of being politically incorrect.
