I wouldn't have stopped. Find a cop and flag them down first. Maybe this guy needs to be investigated. What is an EPA guy doing serveillance at a SCHOOL. More than meets the eye.

EPA agents are armed these days. A bureaucrat this arrogant might have opened fire.

She was talking to her husband so assume she had a cellphone.
She should have called 911 and not stopped her vehicle until a
real marked police car showed up.

A good idea for anyone, especially for females, is if a person tries to instigate a traffic stop on you, and that person is not in a clearly marked police car or an undercover car that you know is a police vehicle because it’s lit up like a Christmas tree, call 911 immediately, advise them of the situation, and ask for them to send an officer to a public location, and stay on the phone until you see that officer. No one will fault you for this because criminals have been known to impersonate law enforcement, and many agencies have a policy that all traffic stops must be instigated by a clearly marked police vehicle exactly for this reason. The officers in the local police agencies have mothers, wives, sisters and so on—they understand.

I don't think it reads that he was surveilling the school. Likely he was driving on the same road, saw the lady driving faster than the speed limit and then let his EPA authority go to his head.

I know exactly where this is, and your insinuations are completely off base. When he and the other cars are driving 25, and another car passes them going much faster, its very easy to tell that they are speeding. No surveillance, he just happened to be there when this happened, and did what many of us have done before, called the person on their blatant disregard for the law and everyone else. When she got uppity he then pulled her over. Good for him.

Absolutely correct! I wouldn't have stopped either. Just b/c he "flashes a badge" doesn't mean a thing. No uniform, no badge. WTH!

Someone w/o a life!

>>I wouldn't have stopped. <<

I had a volunteer fireman try to pull this garbage on me when I was 17. In Washington, they have a green light on the front of the vehicle that lets you know you should pull over. He was going the other way and didn’t like the swerving I was doing and did a hard u-turn.

Well, he got behind me and turned on his green light so I pulled over, with him pulling over behind me. Since he was behind me and stopped, I then left. After all, why pull over for a volunteer fireman that is off the road and stopped. He got in his car, got behind me and did it again. I pulled over again. When he stopped, I then left again. 8^>

He did this three or four times (it was 1973 and hard to remember just how many times he did it). I finally pulled into my driveway and he followed and made some smart alec comment. I simply told him he’s not a cop but “thank you for your concern.” I also mentioned what his speed must have been when he kept having to catch up with me since I was going the speed limit.

He left and that was it.

There are a lot of people in government who love to control other people. No wonder so many of them are socialists…
