BREAKING! JOE LOCKHART JUST CALLED TOMMY FRANKS A LIAR ABOUT TORA BORA!!!
The Big Story w/ John Gibson ^ | 28 Oct. 2004 | TxRadioguy

Posted on 10/28/2004 2:32:19 PM PDT by txradioguy

HOLY @#%^@#$&!!!! Joe Lockhart was trying to spin the myth that W let UBL escape from Tora Bora and citing retired AF (I think) General McPeak's statements that are negative about the war. Gibson pointed out that Gen. Franks himself has said that Kerry has his facts wrong about the situation in 2001 at Tora Bora.

John Gibson: "Mr. Lockhart, you aren't questioning Gen. Frank's credibility are you?"

Lockhart: "What I'm not doing is questioning Gen. McPeake's credibility...Gen. Franks has had two years to get his story straight about Tora Bora and he's out there doing the President a political favor."

"Hugh Hewitt just played the clip"

What was his reaction to what was said? Have any callers weighed in?

What was McPeake's job at CentCom at that time?

Here's a list of Centcom Commanders I have from a ways back.

I don't see him there anywhere.

Good afternoon.

McPeak is being peevish because he was edged out by Rumsfield. As soon as he was gone his replacement reversed most of McPeak's orders.
He is much like little Wes Clark, a political animal with an inflated ego.

McPeak served 37 years in the Air Force, retiring to Oregon 10 years ago.

"saying Guiliani is the one who blamed soldiers"

Juan Williams just tried to foist that info on the panel and was summarily shot down.

I guess we can look for Alan Colmes to be making the same statement.

I wouldn't want Tommy Franks mad at me!

Me neither too. Especially since he will be elected POTUS in 2008.

McPeak is as big a weasel as Weasley Clark. Gen Franks is a man of honor. End of Story!

Just heard Alan Colmes on a talk show here in Dallas, and he says he thinks Bush will win election.

"Just heard Alan Colmes on a talk show here in Dallas, and he says he thinks Bush will win election."

He must be "deeply disappointed".

Must be hard looking at Hannity now and realizing that Sean was right and he was wrong.

I think he was in charge of the air force contingent in Gulf War 1 in 1991.

What he knows about the infantry in Afghanistan in 2001 can be put into a thimble. IMHO>

LOL! No, that was Chad something .. who made that interesting comment. And from the Sinclair treatment of Stolen Honor, I guess Sinclair didn't want to find out what might happen. Too bad!

Good afternoon.

The little Michael J. Fox looking pissant would be Chad Clanton. For some reason he always makes me think of Ike Clanton as he was portrayed in the movie 'Tombstone'.

Hugh was just amazed that Lockjaw called Tommy Franks a liar. He didn't comment about McPeak.

Callers are just incredulous about Lockjaw's attitude toward Franks.

Lockhart needs more TV/radio time...he drives away voters everytime he opens his mouth

I saw it -- but he also ran at the month on The Big Story earlier today saying the missing stuff is the Presidents fault EVEN if it disappeared BEFORE WE INVADED Iraq... in other words "Bush did it!!!"

They demand NOT to be interrupted .. but they are the ones who interrupt others the most .. how typically liberal and tolerant of them.

Have to wonder if Joe's prostate quivered a little bit after he realized what he'd spewed out about Franks. Sort of like..."ohhhh geeze, I'm in for it now!"
