I had a pretty good day. I got some resting done. I felt more than a little rocky last night. Still rocky this morning, so I took the afternoon off, and will probably take the morning off too. I've never taken a single day of sick time, and maxed my hours a long time ago. Soooo....I decided to use a few hours.

Your friend reminds me of one of my brothers. Amateur astronomy photographer. Never published, but I'm sure he could be if he'd turn some of his photos in. He has some real nice equipment, and knows how to use it. Moon, if you're here, share some pics with us.

Back in the 60s I was a fan but they ticked me off and I got mad at them. Then they'd do well the next year and I'd fall for it again, soften up and start cheering again. As soon as I cheered they lost.

Have you noticed that they have slowly improved over the years? That's because, with practice I was able to stay angry longer each year. Then I'd have to harden myself against the cheers of others.

The last couple years my swears would make grown men cringe, but it worked and the Sox would hang in longer.

This season I had the advantage of the election. I threw myself headlong into that to take my mind completely off Baseball and thank God it worked.
