I just received a visit from a representative of ACORN. What a hoot! This ding-a-ling went on and on about the disenfranchisement of black voters in 2000 and how the "crackers" were responsible for it.
I told him I was voting for the President, and he began the rant about job losses and Iraq. I retorted with 9/11 and the Clinton recession. Then I told him to leave. Four times. Nope. Not that easy. It took me coming outside, chasing him down the driveway and my wife calling the police before he left, calling me "Klan" and "cracker" all the way down the street.
All in all, a good night furthering our cause (although my wife fears for the paint jobs on our cars). Hey, insurance comes in handy from time to time.
Good luck Mr. President. I'm proud to have stood for you tonight.
