ICR Presidential Poll Tracker Bush up by 2% (46.55-44.6)
ICR Presidential Poll Tracker ^ | 10/27/2004

Publicly Released Studies Released: Wednesday, October 27, 2004

President George W. Bush and challenger John Kerry continue to be in a statistical dead heat among registered voters. And, while the ICR Tracking Poll of October 9 – 11 was showing President Bush with a slight advantage among likely voters, that lead has now fallen to within the margin of error as well.

With the race for President so close, appealing to Independent voters is crucial to both candidates. Over time, the ICR Presidential Tracker has shown not only that this “race within the race” has largely been inside the margin of error, but also that at different times each candidate has held a slight lead with this critical population.

Registered Voters

Based on registered voters (N = 817, margin of error = +/-3.4%), 46.5 percent say they will vote for George W. Bush, 44.6 percent for John Kerry, and 8.9 percent for others or undecided.

Likely Voters

Among likely voters (registered voters who say they are certain they will vote, N = 741, margin of error = +/-3.6%) 48.0 percent say they will vote for George W. Bush, 45.4 percent for John Kerry, and 6.6 percent for others or undecided.

I'm tired of all of this neck-and-neck talk by the media. When 10 DIFFERENT NATIONAL POLLS all say Bush is leading, HE'S LEADING.

Those numbers are way too low for Bush. I don't care what anyone thinks but Bush is not getting any less than 50% of the popular vote on election day.

I really think Bush is leading by more than the "averaging" of polls are saying....more like Fox polling....but either this is made to energize the Republicans to GOTV...OR the Dems.....All of the negative posturing by Kerry, I think, causes Dems to NOT get more jazzed over Kerry but to not vote...that is my opinion.

So you are old and you are right and are saying that Bush will be getting less than 50% of the pop.vote on Nov 2.

Sorry, it is you in fact who will be wrong.

It has nothing to do with a sign-up date!! No correlation whatsoever!!
