Debka readers read about this on May 4, 2003.

http://www.debka.com/article.php?aid=482

Syria is reported by DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s intelligence sources as having secretly disposed of Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction by moving them into eastern Lebanon for burial in the Beqaa Valley. Iraq’s biological weapons may be there too. They were interred deep under the heroin poppy and cotton fields in two of the most fertile regions of Lebanon: the valley stretching between Jabal Akroum, the town of al Qbayyat and the Syrian border, and the land lying between the towns of Al Hirmil and al Labwah between the Orontes River and the Syrian frontier.

On February 14, about a month before the start of the war in Iraq, DEBKA-Net-Weekly Issue 97 ran an article captioned “Is Iraq’s WMD cache in Lebanon available to Al Qaeda?”

Now, our intelligence sources can disclose exclusively that the relocation of Iraq’s WMD systems took place between January 10 and March 10 and was completed just 10 days before the US-led offensive was launched against Iraq. The banned arsenal, hauled in giant tankers from Iraq to Syria and from there to the Bekaa Valley under Syrian special forces and military intelligence escort, was discharged into pits 6-8 meters across and 25-35 meters deep dug by Syrian army engineers. They were sealed and planted over with new seedlings. Nonetheless, their location is known and detectable with the right instruments. Our sources have learned that Syria was paid about $35 million to make Saddam Hussein’s forbidden weapons disappear.

I'm positive that it was here at FR that these satellite images were shown well before our military went into Irag!

Thank You ...you dumb A--holes Kerry and the MSM!...because if Iraq moved these out pre war... they also moved the WMD!... and if you look at news reports of the time we found a lot of things an Al QaQaa that indicated WMD's had been there

Yep.. and Kerry was dropping Bremmer's name when he was going on about this... with Bremmer just weighing in that it's most plausabible that this stuff was moved prior to invasion... BOOM!

Kerry's lie is crashing and burning!!!!!

I hope that this happens soon. It usually takes at least a week for this kind of information to get to the majority of people.

I think this will force Bush to make a special address to the nation:

"My fellow Americans, in the debates I was asked if I have ever made a mistake as President. Tonight, I stand before you to admit that I have made an extremely serious mistake, one that I promise never to repeat again. For several months at the start of 2003 I delayed the invasion of Iraq while Secretary Powell attempted to persuade the UN and our so-called allies to back our efforts. During that time Saddam was able to dismantle and move out of the country or otherwise disperse and hide his most dangerous weaponry. The movement of weapons from Al Quaqua is one of the biggest examples of what went wrong. I should have invaded Iraq sooner, and I promise never to make the mistake again of trying to talk to the UN. I admit my biggest mistake, and I hope you can forgive me. Good night."

My point was that the far end of the Left is anarchy, and the far end of the Right is fascism.

In Einsteinian political space, the Far Left and Far Right meet at infinity.

Of course we have to be careful, photos of something large moving in Iraq before the war just might be a picture of Sean Penn's ego.

I wish Pres. Bush would stop chuckling when he's making statements. He makes powerful disavowals and then ends up giggling in the last sentence. I wonder if they're still advising him not to be a "scowler." Today's words v. the explosives in Iraq were definitive but I was unnerved by the chuckling.

Hey, you're newer than me! You're really going to like it here. Careful though, it's addicting!

Rove is calling CNN's bluff

I recall the mantra being chanted on CNN was "golly gee, would not the Pentagon have imagery of this stuff leaving al-QaQaa?"

Why wasn't this done like YESTERDAY?

maybe to let them hang themselves REAL GOOD first,
and also run out the clock a little bit more before the next
stink-bomb surfaces.
