OMGosh, that's hysterical. I have to get one for my husband!!! Where can we get them? Anyone? No time to search. Running out the door to the Dr.

Awesome pictures. They gave me goosebumps. That's so exciting to see the Amish support!

That doesn't like the 747 the President normally uses, even though it's still "Air Force One." Anyone know why he's using that plane?

LMBO! My husband would never wear it in public but that would be a great gag gift for Christmas stockings. This is GREAT! Thank you so much.

Yep. The Amish are good people. Great cooks too! I've got fond memories of Shoo Fly Pie at the the Good 'N Plenty restaurant in Lancaster a couple years ago..

I bet the Amish were never polled... how could they be?
To: Sulsa
"Hung like a Republican" LOL... I'd love to have a shirt like that!
These are supposed to be Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirts, but they're not on the web page yet...

"There were quite a few Amish out there today...they are politically energized as never before."Has anyone said why this is?

Also the Amish will not be brainwashed by the MSM (No TV's!) I am starting to see their wisdom!

The pictures of the Amish are just fantastic. I'll bet W is very heartened by their support. Not sure how much they weigh in numerically.

I understand that Amish don't usually vote but they must really want to have Bush back in office. Hooooorayyyyyyyyyy!
To: massadvj
I saw another thread today that a large group of young people showed up to protest Michael Moore at Indiana (of PA) State College and that Michael Moore said that he had never seen anything like it! The report said that there were about 500 protesters. PA young people are fired up for Bush.

Has anyone said why this is? Apparently, the same sex marriage situation has really opened their eyes politically. They see that the American culture is embracing depravity and sooner or later that is going to affect them. They can insulate themselves, but they cannot innoculate themselves from the greater culture.

I love the photos. The kids especially are hysterical.
The Amish, though, that makes me tear up. A lot of good people are joining together to fight to elect our President and keep this nation safe.

Excellent point WINNER3000!!! They are a lot wiser than many of us ...Their way of life enables them to focus on what's important (love God, family, neighbor) and tune out all the noise...
And now, when their way of life could be threatened by a country gone mad with ultra-liberalism, they are wise to exercise the power of their vote!!!

I'll bet W is very heartened by their support. When W was here a few months ago at Lapp Electric, a Mennonite firm in Manheim, they arranged a private meeting between him and several representatives of the Amish community. They tried to give him some Amish "Whoopie Pies" but he had to explain that the President cannot take food from outside sources for security reasons.
Anyway, they talked about several issues, and at the end of the conversation, W looked at the Amish representives in the eyes and said "God speaks through me." I am told that these elders walked away believing in him totally.
